“Girl, that’s normal, and no, that’s not a lot. You’re crazy for even thinking that. Holy hotness, you come to school and score the most-wanted guy in our class. And the new guy, who is a total mystery, and god, those eyes.” Because Raff had these ice blue eyes, they were so beautiful. I wondered what colored eyes they would have if they had a baby. With Lexi’s amber ones and his ice blue, they’d probably get just boring brown. Like mine.
She didn’t look totally convinced about the two boyfriends thing.
“You know, my sister’s best friend, Kiara, has two boyfriends. We all thought people might say something rude about them, but they walked around school all holding hands and kissing. The guys didn’t, you know, kiss each other, but they both kissed her, and I always thought, that’s what I want. And you, lucky thing, can have that with Raff and Ranger.”
She was so lucky, Kiara too. Man… who else had two boyfriends?
“Oh wait, Jett and Mekhi were dating Clare Briggs last year, and that was all in the open as well. But they broke up… it was sad because I was friends with her, not close, but still. She was upset at first, but then she was all happy and moved off to college. I wouldn’t go to college and leave them yummy guys behind. I would’ve stayed. We thought they would get married and everything.”
We really did, Kiara and Destiny thought for sure Clare would marry them. Even though Clare was dating Kiba boys and Kiara was dating Rawlins they were still friends. The feud didn’t seem to affect them. I guess they had one thing in common, they both were the only ones with two boyfriends last year. This year so far, no real relationships had blossomed with more than one guy. What were they called? They weren’t a couple? Thruple? What was a three-type person relationship called?
“Where is this friend now? Your sister’s friend, Kiara?” Lexi asked, she seemed really interested in Kiara. Maybe she was worried there wouldn’t be a future for her relationship, like with Clare.
“She lives in Rawlins with them. They all got a house together after graduation and moved in over there. I saw her last week, she stopped by to say hi to my parents. She is getting married.” Wait… no she didn’t call it that… what did she call it?
“Well, not to both of them. More like having a commitment ceremony thingy. She invited us, and my sister is coming home, and I can’t wait for you to meet my sister. I told Destiny how the jacket fit you like it was destiny. She didn’t find it as funny but she’s excited to meet you when she gets back over spring break.”
I grabbed some chips and ate a few as I watched her thinking. I wonder what it was like with Raff, did she only dry hump him or did she do more. These were things I never knew much about and I guess Kiara wasn’t into sharing those details with me. But I had heard her telling Destiny.
“Did you like… you know…with Raff? Is he big?” I asked without even thinking how rude that was. She got this huge grin on her face as she slapped my arm.
“Shut it, we haven’t gone that far.” I nodded. That made sense, they were probably waiting for the right time. But then she moved her palms apart and waved them a little, oh fuck. I whistled, was that really how big his dick was? When she nodded I burst out laughing. That was huge. Were all guys that big? But before I could ask, she smiled.
“Let’s watch a movie with hot guys and pig out.”

We fell asleep watchingmovies so when I got up and saw Lexi was still sleeping and I was needing to pee, I didn’t want to wake her. I snuck up and out the same way she had led me, which to be honest was a maze. I heard some talking and when I moved into a living room, I could see some of the Lovell brothers were eating and chatting. And my skin tingled when I saw him.
Saint was here. Oh god, oh fuck. I looked down to what I was wearing and it was not flattering at all, and was that a chocolate ice cream stain down the front of my sleep tee? “Oh god,” I groaned to myself.
I started to turn and head back the way I’d just come, when I saw someone else out of the corner of my eye, Jett. He was standing in the living room… only wearing his boxers. He gave me a lopsided grin and winked. My cheeks heated. I quickly turned and ran away back to Lexi and when I dropped down beside her in my rush, I woke her.
“Oh, hey. Good morning.” She rubbed her eyes. And looked around. I looked round too, what was she looking for? I noticed there was an extra blanket and pillow beside her… Raff didn’t sleep in here, did he? That would be weird right? Yeah, that would be, she wouldn’t have let him in here. Oh, what about Ranger? Was she going to date them both?
“You wanna get some breakfast?” She asked as she got up and stretched. I nodded. I didn’t want to tell her I had just been out there and that Jett was almost naked. Oh god, he’d winked at me and that had made me feel funny. In a good way, but he was just being nice… right? Or did he like me?
“I need to shower up and stuff first.” I didn’t want Saint seeing me like this. Not that I think he would care, he’d probably forgotten about me anyway. I was very forgettable. She agreed about the shower first and said we can shower in her room. I’d left all my clothes and stuff in her room so this was perfect.
When we got back out into the living room Jett wasn’t there. When I moved further into the room, I could see he was now sitting at the large table with more clothes on, but with more of the Lovells. I froze when they all turned and smiled towards us. All five brothers had these magnificent green eyes in different shades.
“Have a good night?” Ranger asked as he took a seat at the end. I wasn’t sure if he was asking us both or just Lexi. But when she didn’t answer I nodded. Saint wasn’t here anymore, and I didn’t see Maverick either. They were probably off somewhere like Lexi and I were, they were best friends after all.
“Yeah, it was great. Your movie room is amazing,” I started to hurry behind Lexi. How could she act so cool and calm around all this… well the Lovell brothers were like the hottest thing ever, times five. Even the surly older one, Nash, was hot.
After the nicehot shower and all my business was taken care of, I put on some jeans and a tee. I was trying to wear less “accounting” shirts still, and this tee was tight, baby pink and showed off my cleavage. Something I didn’t normally show, but I kind of liked how it made my body shape look more like a woman and not so childish.
“You want cereal or bacon and eggs?” Jett asked me when I emerged with Lexi. I just looked around and they were all still there having breakfast. Huh, I was hoping they would have finished by now.
“I will have bacons and eggs, Ada?” Lexi turned to me, I smiled to Jett and squeaked out, “same.”
I moved over to the table and watched as Lexi sat beside Raff. I sat in the empty seat beside her, across from me was Lyell, he was two years older than me. I remembered him from school. He was really quiet. Actually, I didn’t think I had ever heard him talk before. I noticed he had a book beside him. I couldn’t see the title, but did he like reading? When he didn’t say anything to me but only stared, I felt uncomfortable.
“So do you like reading?” I asked, he nodded. And when he didn’t speak again, I asked if he watched anything good lately. Just to make conversation.
“Oh, I have, I watched Twilight. And I don’t mind some of the Harry Potter films.” Ranger spoke up, I was a little surprised. I looked up and smiled as Jett placed the breakfast in front of me.
