“You did amazing, little brother. You’re so damn perfect and all mine right now. Not Glen’s or anyone else’s. Only mine.”

My heart sings, feeling elated, full. If only this wasn’t temporary. If only we weren’t on our way to our last goodbye. We lie tangled in each other, sweaty and sticky. My mom calls to tell us she and Dad can’t make dinner after all and will have to reschedule for tomorrow. As she’s saying her goodbyes, Jace starts licking me clean, swiping his tongue over the leftover cum on my skin.

I bite my lower lip to keep from moaning when he laps his tongue around my spent cock.

“Yeah. We’ll see you tomorrow. That’s okay, Mom. We’ll go out somewhere together. Maybe the taco truck we used to eat at during the summer.” I send him a glare when he sucks my tip into his mouth, grinning around me.

“Love you too. Bye.”

I hang up the phone and toss it on the coffee table. “You’re an asshole.”

“What? I helped you get clean so you could add more to that list of yours. I want to help you fill up a whole page before I leave, so I have so many good things to read over on my trip home.”

“You could have waited until I got off the phone,” I huff.

“Oh, you were on the phone? I didn’t notice.” He grins up at me, running his nose over my inner thigh.

“Yeah, okay. I’m hungry and we no longer have dinner plans.”

“I can cook us something.”

I guide his body up higher, kissing his lips sweetly. “No. I’m not ready to separate from you yet. Let’s order delivery. Chinese or pizza?”

“How about Texas Roadhouse? I miss those buttery rolls.” He rubs his stubble over my chin.

“Sure. I haven’t had those in forever.”

Stretching out my arm, I grab my phone and search for the number. I order food and we laze on the couch, sharing an infinite amount of kisses until the food arrives.

A loud knock has Jace scrambling from the couch, and I laugh when he ties a throw blanket around his waist to answer the door. With food in hand, he walks back over to me, shaking his hips so hard the blanket falls to the floor, and I fall back on the couch in a heap of laughter.

We move to the table to eat our food, Jace dragging my chair closer to his. His foot rubs over the top of mine, and we can’t fully stop touching each other in some way. He helps me clean up, rubbing his hand up and down my back as we make our way back to the couch.

We get lost in each other’s bodies again, Jace teasing me for hours before letting me come again. Worn out and loving where I am too much, I cozy up to his chest and drift off, saving the rest of the house tour for tomorrow.

Twenty-Five

Jace

Morning light casts shadows on Nate’s back. I don’t have to worry about waking up next to him this time. I don’t have to worry about him getting out of bed before me. He makes a soft sound when I make shapes out of his freckles with my fingers.

His eyes twitch, lashes fluttering, and he presses his face to my chest. “Mm, morning.”

“Morning.” I brush a curling strand of hair from his face and kiss his nose.

“What time is it?” he asks between yawns, placing his leg on top of mine.

“No idea.” My stomach groans and I glance between us. “Food time.”

His laughter tickles my chest. “I think I’m in the mood for donuts.” His eyes flick up at me.

“You saying you want to go to the bakery down the street?”

He shakes his head. “No. I want to have some delivered and stay on this couch with you for as long as I can.”

“You mean until dinner and our parents.”

He stifles a groan, shifting to his back and pushing me more to the edge. “Don’t remind me.”
