He laughs. “I am hungry, and I need to move my body around some more to regain all feeling back.”

He pulls his shirt back on and follows me outside, and it doesn’t take us long to pull into a very packed parking lot of the restaurant. It appears we aren’t the only ones who wanted to eat here tonight. It’s a good thing time had a way of passing me by when Ben was around.

“The food smells so good,” he says, sticking his nose in the air, taking in the aroma of the entryway of the restaurant. Our name is called sooner than I expected it would be. Ben’s stomach is growling louder than the voice of the waitress calling our names, and we don’t hear her the first time.

After we are seated, Ben smiles at me from across the table before picking up his menu. I wanted to take his mind off earlier and not even give him a chance to think about the yellow roses again. I hate that another person took a beautiful thing like flowers and turned it into something ugly for Ben. His hand taps against the table and I reach across the way, leaving my hand near his, inviting him to slip his into mine. The expression on his face becomes less strained the moment he places his hand on top of mine and I close my fingers around his. I leave my hand there until our food comes and we mostly eat in silence. Ben grabs the menu after handing the waitress his empty plate and orders dessert to go.

“The best way to eat chocolate cake is in bed with Papi Gavin. It should be the only way.”

I couldn’t argue with him there. I pull him to me, dragging his tired frame to the car. He smiles up at me, yawning as I slide him into the passenger side. “I don’t think I’ll make it to dessert,” he says in a soft lazy tone.

I smile. “I don’t think so either. You almost didn’t make it to the car.”

“Good thing I have you to help me then.” He winks at me through the car window when I lightly shut the door. Sliding into the driver’s seat beside him, I pick up his hand and press a kiss into his palm. “You will always have me. You know that, right?”

He swallows, making his Adam’s apple bob. “Don’t make promises you can’t keep.”

I press my mouth to the side of his head, moving my mouth over his ear, gaining a shiver from him. “I never do.”

**************

Waking up with Ben in my arms gives a whole new meaning to the words ‘good morning’. He wiggles his body beside me, releasing little snores that have me smiling wide. He is easily the most beautiful thing I’ve ever seen. I lay on my side enjoying my new favorite view and his eyes start to flutter.

“Who has a staring problem now?” he says in a sleepy voice, waggling his eyebrows.

“I’m just enjoying my morning view. The sunrise looks much better coming through the window against your naked skin.”

He rolls his eyes. “I would say flattery would get you everywhere, but you already have me completely naked in your bed so I’m not sure how much further you could go.”

I laugh. “Oh, there are plenty of places I could go deeper than I already have.” My fingers slide down the cleft of his ass, rubbing his hole. I’ve wanted to be inside him for a long time, but I didn’t want to push him too far. I’ve finally gotten to the point where I can touch him without him flinching, and I didn’t want to lose this new growing trust.

Rubbing his body against mine, our hard cocks press together. “Mmm, I guess you got a point there. I bet you would feel amazing inside me, Papi, but it’s been so long. I don’t know if I’m ready yet.”

I pull him into a deep and long kiss, my tongue seeking out his. Morning breath be damned. I am always too impatient when it comes to kissing Ben. We break apart, breathless. “We can take it one day at a time. We never have to rush anything. There are plenty of other things we can do.”

He smiles. “Thank you, Papi, for always being so patient with me.”

I run my fingers through his hair. “That’s what being a good Papi entails.”

He grows silent for a moment and I know that usually means trouble with Ben. “You didn’t happen to bring those toys from your closet with you, did you?”

I laugh. “I may have packed a few. Didn’t you go through my bag?”

He pouts. “I did, but I didn’t get very far by the time you came back from the bathroom at the gas station, so all I saw were the soft faux velvet cuffs.”

I laugh. “I knew I should have put both bags in the trunk. Maybe Papi Gavin should teach you a lesson for going through his things. Did I give you permission to do that? We didn’t really get much time to talk about it earlier.”

He smirks. “I thought you already did when you tied me up yesterday. Besides, I’m only at strike two.”

“I feel like you enjoyed that way too much for that to be a lesson, and yes you are.”

His stomach rumbles and my eyes fall to the source of the sound and my fingers pull away from his hole, earning me a frown. “Sounds like someone needs to eat soon.”

His eyes go wide and he self-consciously moves his hands to his stomach. “Sorry; I guess my stomach has a habit of doing that.”

“It just means you need to stop going so long without eating.”

He rolls his eyes. “You should stop distracting me then. Maybe we can go for a naked swim afterward.”
