“So we’re keeping us a secret?” he asks and looks around us.

“Until the semester ends, at least,” I say. “Then I’ll make sure not to take your classes.”

“But if anyone finds out…”

“We’ll deal with it then,” Ev says. “Come on. I’ve reread our contract a hundred times. Even if anyone finds out, it’s not the end of the world. Besides, they’re worth it, aren’t they?”

Ev looks at me and so does Carter, and I feel my cheeks get warm and rosy.

“Aw, you guys,” I say. “You’re the cutest.”

“We are. Aren’t we?” Carter says.

Ev reaches for my hand, too, so we all end up holding hands and looking sappy as anything. I really am so lucky, it’s unreal. The luckiest person in the world. And I can’t wait to find out what my future with them holds.

“Of course, if you’re concerned about the teacher thing, my friend Freddy and his teacher waited until the semester ended before they had sex,” I tell them.

Carter pulls his hands away from both of us.

“Fuck that shit,” he spits and shakes his head with disgust, making me laugh yet again.

“Yeah. Fuck that shit, indeed,” I say.

Once we’re done with dinner, I go off to get the car and pick them up.

The whole time on our way home, all I can think about is the surprise we’ve got for them, and I can’t help getting hard.

“So… what’s on the menu for the rest of the night?” Tru asks from the backseat and reaches up to my left ear and strokes behind it.

“Dessert,” I say.

“Anddessert,” Carter adds with a slight hint of mischief in his voice.

“Mmmm, fantastic. I amstarving,” Tru replies, and when I look at the rearview mirror, I find them staring back at me, sex in their eyes.

When we get to the apartment, Carter takes Tru’s coat off and shows them to the dining table, and I get to work on making the waffles. Thankfully, I was smart enough to prepare the mix before we picked them up so all I need to do is warm up the waffle maker, pour the mix in, and bam.

Tru and Carter get into a chat about their game, and I hear Carter promise them they can play afterward.

I want to interrupt and tell him there won’t be time for videogames later, but I’m pretty sure Carter’s just playing coy. Tonight is going to be a long night, and the only games we’re playing are in bed.

Once the time’s up, I remove the waffles and plate them, pouring a generous serving of chocolate, top up with raspberries, and cover with more chocolate. Lastly, I add a sprinkle of tiny marshmallows and take the plate to the table.

“What? Only one? What about you guys?” Tru asks when I set the plate down.

“It’s for all of us, piglet,” Carter says, grabbing his fork and digging right in.

“Oh my. I’ve got so much to teach you, boys,” they say and pick up their fork, too. “First of all, shared desserts are a crime against desserts everywhere.”

They take a bite, and I revel in the way it makes them feel. Their eyes close, their lips pucker, their shoulders relax, and a hum follows every chew.

“See, you’ve made this delicious tower of sin, and you expect me to share. So not fair,” they say.

I laugh and help myself, too.
