Only a few minutes had passed since Lennart and Liam entered the pool before they were already in the company of three pretty women. Two of them were sisters from Spain and one, slightly older than both of them, from England. She introduced herself as Scarlett, and as far as Lennart remembered, was married or had a boyfriend. Not that he minded having a chat with her, even flirting a little, although he wasn’t the initiator.
“So, you are a musician? How impressive!” Scarlett excitedly said.
“Yeah. But it’s more like a plan to pick it up again, since we’ll have more time on our hands down here. I thought that it would be a good idea to get back to it,” Lennart said, though it was only to cover his real occupation.
“Of course. I would love to hear you play,” Scarlett added and smiled, while seductively twirling a strand of her long red hair.It resembles fire,Lennart thought, and glanced at her tiny red bikini that left only little to imagination.
The color suits her perfectly and matches her character.
“Oh, me too!” one of the sisters interjected. A real contrast to the red-haired woman. She appeared more reserved compared to Scarlett, but open enough to join their conversation. Her name was Leticia, and she approached them with her younger sister, Valeria. Liam got busy with the younger right from the start.
“Well, maybe one day I’ll play for the crowd. For now I’m just practicing and getting back in shape,” Lennart grinned.
Scarlett’s eyes traversed up and down his muscular body as she leaned closer. “I wouldn’t mind if you played something for me… in private.”
Lennart laughed and noticed how the other woman’s face became red. He considered what to say to that, when Alice walked up to them.
“Hey, what’s up?” Alice sat down on the edge of the pool and dipped her feet in the water.
“Nothing. Just getting to know some of the residents,” Lennart casually replied.
“And you are… sweetheart?” Scarlett asked, not wasting her time.
“I’m Alice. Lenny and Liam’s friend.”
Lennart couldn’t help but notice how pale Liam became when Alice joined their small group. His friend looked as if he wanted the earth to swallow him and immediately pulled away from the girl he’d obviously flirted with moments ago. Lennart knew him well and that Liam’s crush on Alice still lasted. He tried to convince him a couple of times to tell Alice the truth, but Liam stubbornly refused, insisting that being rejected once was enough. That was years ago, but Liam still wasn’t over her. They shared a look when Alice introduced herself to the girls.
The older woman’s lips curved into a smile. “Nice to meet you, Alice. I’m Scarlett.”
“I’m Leticia,” the other woman added. “And I’m Valeria.” Both sisters now focused on Alice.
“Nice to meet you.” Alice smiled then glanced at Liam and her smile vanished. “Are you having a good time?”
“Yeah, we’re having fun! The boys are a great company,” Leticia said with a smile and glanced at Lennart.
“I’m glad,” Alice replied when a man showed up behind Scarlett. Lennart was sure he was Scarlett’s partner.
“Honey, it’s getting late. Time to retreat to our room.”
Scarlett turned to her man and said, “Sure darling,” then turned back to the gathering. “It was nice talking to you all. Have a pleasant evening.”
“Thanks, you too!” Alice was the loudest to reply.
Lennart gave Scarlett a small smile. “Have a good night.” Scarlett winked and turned to leave. Lennart looked at Leticia who shrugged. She wanted to look nonchalant, but Lennart noticed that she seemed relieved when Scarlett left.
Alice continued her chat with Valeria, and Liam stayed beside them, doing his best to play it cool. Leticia took her opportunity to have some alone time with Lennart. “Would you like to go for a swim?”
The two swam together to the middle of the pool. Leticia splashed him, and Lennart joined in. They were playing and laughing, chasing each other around the pool, both eager not to think about the circumstances that brought them together. The world might be falling apart, but they chose not to care.
At some point Leticia and Lennart found themselves under a small fountain. “Okay, I need a little break,” Leticia declared with a laugh, and began enjoying a water massage.
“Yeah, me too.” Lennart grinned and joined her under the stream.
Leticia continued laughing, then her face became more serious, and her brown eyes bore into his. “You know, I know it may sound cheesy, but I haven’t had such a good time in a long time.”
Lennart smiled. “I’m glad you’re enjoying yourself.”
Leticia looked away but remained shoulder to shoulder with him under the fountain. When their eyes met again, she wrapped her arms around his neck and pulled him into a kiss. Her bold approach caught Lennart off guard, but he wasn’t very surprised she made a move. He put his arms around her waist and returned the kiss with the same intensity. Leticia pressed her body against his, her large breasts squeezing against his firm chest making the blood rush to his groin. Lennart hadn’t slept with anyone for months; he didn’t even remember exactly when his last time was. He became hard in no time while her smooth lips moved along his and her tongue explored his mouth.
