Sitting next to me, I watched as everyone else sat. King looked like a bomb ready to explode at any second as the brothers in the Silver Shadows said nothing when Uncle Brian, Sal and Giovanni walked in.

“Only club brothers in church,” King snapped.

“Try to make me leave, boy.” Brian stood firm, crossing his arms over his massive chest as King slowly stood. Declan moved fast to stem the rage from his little brother.

“King, let Brian stay.”

“This is my motherfucking club!”

“And he’s the head of the IRA and Sal’s boss. Trust me. If anyone can keep Sal quiet, it’s him.”

“And Giovanni Valentinetti knows everything,” Reaper added angrily, glaring at me, daring me to say otherwise.

“Why the fuck not!” King snapped. “Why not have the women and kids join? Jackass, go get Charlie. She needs to hear this shit too.”

“King,” Cash groaned. “Come on, brother. Let’s just get this over with so everyone can leave.”

Taking his seat, King sat and said, “Zero, go get Romeo. I want him here for this. Reaper, you begin, because I’m on the verge of killing someone.”

Reaper grinned, reaching for his blades, placing them on the table before him, and I cringed.

“Talk. Now.”

Gulping, I began, “I already told you everything, boss.”

Slamming his hand on the table, King roared, “THEN TELL ME!”

“The night Amber told me about her past, I got an unexpected visitor at the cabin.”

“Who?” Reaper asked, and when I looked at my president, I whispered, “Him.”

Sighing, Reaper nodded. “Go on.”

“Morpheus. He showed up at the cabin. I don’t know how he found me. I was supposed to be dead. He told me to pass a message along to Reaper. Then he ordered me to leave Daniel Scott alone.”

“What message did he want you to pass?” King asked.

Looking back at Reaper, he nodded, so I said, “The deal is off.”

King glared at Reaper. “What deal?”

Leaning forward, Reaper sighed. “Ravage is Morpheus’ son.”

“Fuck me,” Blade groaned.

“Didn’t see that one coming,” Ghost muttered as the church door opened and in walked Zero with Romeo. The second he looked at me, he slowly shook his head, letting me know he didn’t snitch.

“My old man and Moonshine made a deal years ago with Morpheus to keep Ravage off all the clubs’ radars. Morpheus wanted his son hidden, but kept close so Daniel Scott couldn’t get his hands on him. When I took over the club, I agreed to keep the secret.”

“What secret?” King asked, his posture stiffening. “Who the fuck is Ravage?”

“Sypher.” Reaper sighed.

Opening his laptop, the kid began, “Jackson Kane Baudelaire is the son of Kane Baudelaire, but his mother isn’t Jane Craven as he believes. I was asked to wipe his real mother’s existence from all his records, and I did. To anyone who investigates Ravage, his mother is Jane Craven, but it’s a lie. His real mother. The woman who gave birth to him is Gretchen Foster.”

“WHAT THE FUCK?!” Sal and Declan both roared as Brian seethed from the corner before storming out.

Sypher didn’t bat an eyelash as he continued, “Like I was saying before the sheriff came to speak with Amber, Morpheus was eighteen when he left the Brotherhood after his uncle informed him he struck a deal with the Craven family for his nephew to marry Jane Craven, but Morpheus flat out refused and, like many teenagers, he told his uncle to go fuck himself and left. He met Gretchen Foster in Atlanta, Georgia, where they had a summer fling, and not long afterward, they learned she was pregnant.
