I open my mouth to respond, but a heavy arm drapes around my shoulders, and I turn to find Landon standing next to me, casually sipping from my smoothie.

“Hey, sweetheart,” he says with a wink.

“God, I’m exhausted.”Nat’s voice chimes in as she slides into the seat next to Leanne.

“Hey, Cam,” Nat greets me, flashing me a small smile.

“Where did you guys come from?”I ask, narrowing my eyes at Landon, who’s still loudly slurping my drink.“Don’t finish that.”

He huffs dramatically, setting the cup down on the table.“Yeah, yeah, whatever.”

“What’s up, guys?”Leanne asks, her gaze bouncing between Nat and Landon.

“Not much,” Nat replies, her tone dropping to something that could only be described as flirtatious.

Landon clears his throat awkwardly.

“What?”Nat mouths at him, rolling her eyes when he just shakes his head with a knowing smirk.

“Hi, Leanne,” Landon says.“You’re looking… okay.”

Leanne’s eyes widen, and she stares at him as though he’s grown two heads.

“Don’t flatter yourself, honey.I’m still gay,” he deadpans before reaching for my smoothie again.

Leanne snorts.“Touché.”

“So, what’s up, Cam?How was your weekend?”Landon asks, throwing his free arm around my shoulders again.

I blush, biting my bottom lip.

“Oh, he got laid,” Nat announces, earning a round of laughter from everyone at the table.

“Really, guys?”I mutter, glaring at Nat.

“You wanna tell us what’s going on?Because Fox Wilder is glaring at me like he wants to set my arm on fire for touching you,” Landon says, slowly withdrawing his arm.

I steal a quick glance at Fox.He’s still watching me, the rare smile he reserves for me tugging at his lips. He’s got a fresh haircut—sides buzzed shorter than the rest of his tousled curls—and new silver studs in his ears.God, he looks good.Blaze looks up from his phone, and I quickly look away.

“Okay, seriously, what the hell is going on?”Landon asks, his tone laced with curiosity.

“You really did get laid, didn’t you?”Leanne teases, a smirk playing on her lips.

“Jesus, no!I didn’t.”I groan, burying my face in my hands.“But… Fox and I made up.And we’re…” I pause, scratching the back of my head awkwardly.“We’re sort of a thing.”

“Sort of a thing?”Leanne echoes, raising a skeptical eyebrow.

“No way,” Nat exclaims, her voice entirely too loud.“You two are dating now?”

I shoot her a glare, wishing the floor would swallow me whole.

“Sorry!”Nat whispers, but the damage is done.

I can feel Fox’s gaze burning into me from across the room.So much for keeping things under wraps.Fuck.
