She has grown so much in just a few days.
“Hello, my beautiful girl.”I kiss her face ten thousand times, making silly noises.
“I see I’m going to be the bad cop in this relationship.”Scarlett rolls her eyes and pulls out the contraption she uses to attach the baby to her body.
I swear it looks like something from an eighty’s mental asylum.
Which I keep to myself.
Then she brushes her hair off her face, and reaches for Zara, her engagement ring sparkling in the sunlight.
None of our friends know yet, so after the wedding we will announce it.
