She goes flying, and I grab her.
“What are you doing here?”A voice asks, and Caylee and I both turn at the same time.
And we BOTH say, “Jake.”
What the hell?
“Caylee,” Jake replies, glancing between both our faces.“You know one another?
“What areyoudoing here?”My sister asks.“He’s my brother.”
“Christ.”Jake rubs his jaw.
What the fuck is going on?
I really do not like this guy, and he seems to just be everywhere.
Josh wanders over and slaps him on the shoulder.“Welcome to the team.”

“Thanks.”Jake shakes his hand.
Aidan does the same, and the other guys all hear the news at the same time and start fucking slapping each other’s backs and shit.
“You work together?”Caylee asks me.
Some brain cells finally click into place.I never met her ex.She wasn’t with him for long and never invited him to family events.Honestly, the past few months I’ve been distracted and not paid much attention.
“This is your ex?”I exclaim, working it out.
“Yeah.”She nods, and her cheeks blush.
Now I hate him even more.
Jake turns to me, glancing quickly at Caylee, and I force myself not to punch him.
“Welcome to the team.”I reach out and shake the fucker’s hand.
“Caylee, can we talk later?”Jake asks.She shakes her head and walks away.

What the hell did this guy do to my sister?
Whatever it was, he only got one shot at it.If she hasn’t made it clear, I fucking am.
“I’ll say this only once,” I growl.“Stay away from my sister.”
Jake doesn’t even turn my way.He just watches Caylee’s back.When he finally glances at me, his face is tight.
“I can’t promise that.”
ISPIN SCARLETT around, and she lands on my chest and wraps her arms around my neck.Both my hands slide down over her sexy ass, and I grin.“Hello, fiancée.”
She looks stunning in her black cocktail dress; her hair piled on top of her head.
