Me: Bad.

Marissa: Good.

Me: She needs me with her now. I can’t do this. I should just tell him.

Marissa: NO!

Daphne: NO!

Me: I have another two weeks till my period.

Marissa: Shit!

Daphne: You think it is a fertile time?

Me: Unfortunately.

Me: It is only one time. The likelihood is very slim. Right?

Marissa: Didn’t it take only one-time last time?

Me: I fucking hate that you remember that.

Daphne: Look at the positive side.

Me: I don’t see one.

Daphne: Sex sucked last time. This time it was so good, you forgot the condom. That must count for something.

Me: I’m done talking. This is not helping. AT ALL!

Marissa: I’ll call him.

Me: Thank you.

Although I knew with certainty it wouldn't help. I turned the ringer on the phone back on, in case the daycare called or the doctor’s office.

So now what? I couldn't sit in the bathroom all day. I heard some voices outside so maybe he figured out who would keep an eye on me.

I washed my hands and freshened up although it was no use. My reflection staring back at me was that of an utterly pleasured woman. He was so damn good, just thinking about it made me want to do it again. With the condom this time!

I opened the door and peeked through to find Marcus with his older brother. The shock on his face was priceless.

“Brianna, what are you doing here?” Marcus asked, his eyes wide with surprise.

“I was hanging out in the bathroom,” I retorted dryly.

“Whatever for?” he asked.

Because your brother fucked my brains out!

“It’s a nice bathroom,” I mumbled instead.

Then something crossed his face and he turned furious, shifting to his brother. “This is why you told me she was off limits,” he gritted. “You wanted her for yourself.”

Mateo looked unfazed, leaning against his chair. His eyes were calm but there was harshness in them. His gaze was a clear warning. Marcus was stupid not to see it; it was plain as day.

“Um, I should-” I went to move towards the door but Mateo’s voice had me faltering.
