Laughing huskily, Nicky repeated that motion, and then did it a third time. All the while, he jerked himself off, hardand rough. And me? All I could do was hold onto his hips, my fingers digging into his flesh hard enough to leave bruises.

“Ah, baby. You make me so fucking hard. All this is for you. I’ve never felt like this about anyone but you.”

I squeezed my eyes shut at his rambling confession. It was too much, yet the only thing I wanted to hear.

“I-I’ve never felt like this either.” Nicky groaned, loud and obscene. He turned then, lying flat on top of me, our cocks touching. Nicky dipped his head and took his mouth in mine. I opened up, ready and willing to take anything he gave me. His hips began moving, his cock rubbing up against mine.

“This is called frotting,” he told me. “Have you ever done it?” He was moving his hips like we were having sex, but there was no penetration, only the friction of our bodies touching, the spit and Dominic’s precum the only lube used.

I shook my head. No. When would I have ever done something so intimate? Nicky began kissing me again, which was good because he couldn’t see the suddenly overwhelming emotions in my expression. Nobody should start crying because of fucking frotting, yet here I was. Nearly bawling because I’d never felt this good before. Never felt this cared for. I hadn’t known it was even possible.

Nicky shifted from my mouth to my neck, and one hand threaded in between us, circling his cock even as he kept rubbing.

“Fuck, Jamie.”

Dominic was so gone, all I could do was hang on.

“I’m gonna come, baby boy.”

“I want to taste it.”

With a curse, Dominic pulled up to his knees so he was straddling my waist. “Open your mouth and stick out your tongue.”

I did so without hesitation. He pumped his cock hard andfast, eyes half close, lips parted in pleasure. Then, he threw his head back, and with a long and loud groan, Dominic began to come. It spilled, warm and sticky, onto my tongue and down my throat. I swallowed hard and fast, as more of it landed on my lips and chin. Daddy leaned forward, brushing his dick along my lips and cleaning off the remnants of his cum. I darted my tongue out, desperate to get more. Then it was gone and he was kissing me again, tasting his release, and I’d never felt more at peace than I did at that moment.

“So fucking good, beautiful. God, Jamie, you’re perfect. Thank you for giving that to me. You’re everything I could ever want.”

Terror filled my veins. Not because I was scared of Dominic or regretted what we’d done, but because I could see a future with the two of us. I could see a world where we built on this, and it scared the ever-living shit out of me. Dominic could easily consume me. He could overtake my every waking thought and emotion. He could become my personality, and it frightened me how much I wanted it. How easy it would be to be Dominic’s.

My sweet man kissed me some more, my lips, my face, my chin. And me? I clung to him in pure desperation. I was likely hurting him, but Nicky didn’t complain once. As he kissed and praised me and held me tight, he didn’t tell me to chill out or back off. He let me hold him.

I couldn’t let go. Even when he carried me down the stairs and into the small bathroom. It was only a walk-in stall shower, but Dominic kept us steady on our feet as he washed us both, rinsing off the remnants of blood and cum until we were clean. I was making it harder on him, as I had to be touching him in some way, but he made it work. I should have helped, but just standing on my own two feet took all my energy.

He carried me into the kitchen next. I weakly protested that I could walk, but Nicky ignored me, and I was glad because that might’ve been a lie. He got water bottles and snacks and brought them back to the room. We stayed there, with me cuddled in his lap, for I didn’t know how long, eating and talking and just being. We didn’t bring up anything that had happened. No O’Malley, no Bailey going missing, nothing about the past and future. We talked about nothing important, but it was everything. And when I fell asleep, it was in Dominic’s arms.

I looked down at Dominic’s sleeping form one last time. I couldn’t believe he’d stayed asleep as I’d managed to extract myself from his arms and get out of bed. He must not have been sleeping at all lately. I flinched. Another person I’d ruined.

I allowed myself to take him in, desperate to memorize every inch of his body. Every curve, every scar, every tattoo. I wanted it embedded in my memory for the rest of my life so that no matter what happened, I’d always remember this and know it was real. That at least for one night, I’d had something good.

I placed the note down on the bed next to him. I was an asshole for leaving without saying goodbye, but I knew I never would otherwise. And I couldn’t stay. I didn’t belong in his life, at least not yet.

I slipped downstairs as quietly as I could, flinching at every creak on the narrow staircase.

The room was silent and dark, and I managed to get outside without Dominic running down the stairs after me.Skye was in the driveway in a fancy sports car. He leaned over, opening the door for me.

“Ready to go back?”

I nodded, knowing that I’d betray myself if I spoke. Skye seemed to understand and remained silent, waiting till I had the door closed and my seatbelt on before taking off. I looked out the window and wiped tears from my eyes.

“Bye, Daddy. I hope you forgive me.” The small house disappeared from view along with my hopes of ever being with Dominic again.

CHAPTER 26

DOMINIC

The man’s entrails fell out of his stomach onto the heavy-duty tarp with a plop. Still, I didn’t feel anything. I’d been volunteering my services since the day I’d woken up two weeks ago to an empty bed, a note, and no Jamie. Helping track down every loose end in the trafficking ring and making them pay was the only thing keeping me going these days.

I’d taken a leave of absence from my day job. They’d had questions, but I didn’t have answers. I couldn’t go there. I couldn’t pretend I was a boring, average civilian with a 9-to-5, a gym membership, and an apartment. So, I’d thrown myself into this.
