I kept spluttering water and looked around. “T-the bee!”

He stilled a little as he kept a hold of me. “What?”

“The bee, Tito!”

“I think so?” he replied as he sounded confused.

I tried to get below the water again.

He stopped me and held me tight. “What is the matter with you?”

“I-I’m allergic. I-f I get stung…” I trembled so badly that I couldn't finish.

“Holy hell, baby. I’m sorry!” He held me tighter and with a note of concern in his voice, he asked. “Are you okay?”

“As long as the bee is gone I will be. I’m sorry but I swell up like a b-balloon, Tito. I would have to go to the hospital because there are no EPI pens out here.” I laughed nervously even as my nerves had calmed some. “I’m sorry, I ruined our moment…” I whined.

Tito shook his head. “You could never ruin anything for me unless you left me.”

“I don’t think I ever would,” I admitted. “I’m addicted to you now I think?”

“Good.” He held me for a long while. We just floated around a little and it was so relaxing. The water was the perfect temperature and the area had gone serenely quiet.

“We need to get back to the house,” he suggested. “Our nature date got a little TOO natural there toward the end.”

I laughed. “Is that what you call it?”

“I never thought we would come here and do it under my tree,” he admitted.

I knew I needed to confess the truth. “When you told me this spot was your favorite, I wanted to be a part of that, so you would always remember me.”

“Remember you?” Tito asked in shock. “Valen, I am in love with you and I plan to live the rest of my life with you.”

I eased back to look at his face. “You do?”

Nodding, he gave me that cute smirk of his. “I never say things I don’t mean, Valen. But what I need to know...” He paused.

I nodded my head at him. “I love you too!” I exclaimed a bit too exuberantly.

He chuckled even as he looked relieved.

“I’m sorry, I didn’t mean to yell.” I placed both hands on his cheeks and looked into his eyes. “I never had a home, Tito. Like with a mom and a dad, a family. We moved around every couple of weeks and we had eight or ten different places. I realized now that they were all hideouts. But I would be happy to have a home with you.”

He cocked his head at me and said, “I’m sorry you had to go through all that. I wasn’t looking for love, but I knew I loved you from the moment they brought you into the room as you know already.”

I nodded. “Don’t tell me that story again, the first time you did that it made me cry.”

Shaking his head, he replied, “Ok, but you never have to worry that I will forget you, my Valen.” He carried me out of the water. Looking around first, for bees probably, he set me down for a minute then grabbed his shirt up. He stopped close then dried me off with it.

“Tito, what are you going to wear? Stop!”

“What?” With a chuckle, he picked up my bra and handed it to me. Then grabbed his briefs, slipping them on. “You need to be dry. I mean no one will get all hot and bothered upon seeing my wet, hard nipples through my shirt. You, on the other hand…”

I laughed. “Ok, you got a point.” I put the bra on.

Now, he started to hand me my panties. Pausing first, he took a whiff of them and groaned.

I gasped. No man had ever done such a thing in front of me.
