“Used to be?” Prophet spoke up. “What does that mean?”
“It’s not open anymore,” Logan explained. “I looked it up and the property was bought three months ago.”
“By O, right?” I asked him.
Shrugging, Logan replied, “Haven’t found that yet. But this would be a great spot to hide, That’s for sure. It sits on the bank of a river with trees everywhere. The Connor Bridge sits in front of it, like the best camouflage you could get.” He scrolled his mouse and the image zoomed down and in.
We all stepped closer and leaned in to look.
“You got it, Ace?” Talon’s voice called out.
We looked over our shoulders to see Talon, Liv, Redemption and Jarret coming in.
“Yeah,” Logan called back. “But the trees obscure most of it.”
Talon moved in with his large frame as Jewel and I stepped over. The man was the kind that when he focused on something, he didn’t seem to care about anything else.
Redemption came over with Liv and Jarret.
Prophet now stepped to the side, so they could all see.
I sure as hell don’t know what they could be staring at. It looked odd and it seemed like nothing but a sort of blur of green and yellow. Just what Logan had said…Trees.
Then the screen seemed to zoom even closer as I was peeking in over Liv’s shoulder. A few vehicles could be seen. Not entirely but you could make them out. I turned and looked at Jewel, then motioned her over.
She stepped close and stared at me.
“Do you know what car Deacon used?” I asked her.
Nodding, she then rolled her eyes. “A fucking silver—”
“—Porsche,” Redemption cut her off.
She glanced over at him in surprise. “Yeah, he acted all superior whenever he would drive up in it.”
Logan nodded his head. “Yep, that’s one of the vehicles.”
Redemption and Jarret stared at it and the other cars.
“Damn, she told him the truth,” Jarret whispered.
“She did.” Redemption looked over at Talon and asked, “So what now?”
He was busy tapping his cell screen. “I’m getting the best men we have to stake the place out. Then we wait for information. When we get eyes on the place, they will tell us what they see. How many men are on guard. What looks like the best place to approach. What the weaknesses are and what we will be up against. Like alarms, traps, extra guards. The road in and out, the bridge and the river. The whole dynamic, so we can have the best chance.”
“A-at what?” I asked.
“Getting Glory out of there,” Redemption replied. Looking over at Talon he asked, “Maybe they can ascertain where exactly she’s being held.”
“I got that already,” Logan spoke up.
We all looked back at him.
Jarret and Redemption stepped close to the screen again to look.
“This is my Thermal program.” Logan pointed at one square at the bottom. “See here, there's one signature in the southeast part of the building. Then there’s two outside what would be the door to her room. Guards. Then outside, I see 4 guards.” He pointed to a screen box at the top. “These signatures are outside patrolling, you can see them move.”
Redemption kept his eyes glued to the box where Glory was supposed to be. “So, this one is Glory.”
