Gracie:Mrs. Dobson says hello! Her groceries are inside and she’s the sweetest ever. She made me lemonade, and we talked all about her grandchildren and how much she loves it when they come to visit.

Felix:Thanks for doing that for me.

Gracie:And congrats on another win! You guys are killing it.

Felix:You’re watching the games?

Gracie:No? But I AM checking the scores, which, considering I used to have hockey entirely blocked on all my internet browsers, I’d say that’s making progress.

Felix:I appreciate the effort.

Gracie:I really am happy you guys are doing so well.

Felix:The last win was sloppy. It wouldn’t have happened without Logan. And I let too many goals through.

Gracie:You can’t lose a game on your own, Felix.

Felix:I can. It’s happened before.

Felix:Distract me. What are you doing right now?

Gracie:Practicing, actually.

Felix:Right this second?

Gracie:Right this second.

Felix:Can I listen?

Gracie:Seriously?

Felix:Seriously.

Gracie:Give me a second, and I’ll call you.

Felix:I got the recordings! Thank you for sending them. It’s not quite as magical as it was to listen to you playing on the phone last night, but it’s a very close second.

Felix:Now I’ve got a problem, though.

Gracie:What kind of problem?

Felix:You’ve spoiled me, and now the only classical music I want to listen to is you.

Gracie:Stop it.

Felix:I’m serious. Somehow, knowing you’re on the other end of the music I’m listening to makes me like it more.

Gracie:Now you’re spoiling ME.

Gracie:I’m sorry about the loss. How are you feeling?

Felix:Mostly just ready to be home.

Gracie:How’s Brahms? Have you made it through yet?

Felix:Not yet. But we’ve still got…nine more hours on the road? There’s still time.

Gracie:Want to play a game?
