I cut the bitch off before she can even declare a role she never fucking honored and snap, “The old ladies have packed your stuff already and it should be waiting for you by the gate! You are no longer allowed on club property, any club property, and if caught, you will be punished with your life.”

Never have I ever been so fucking glad that Anna agreed to pack the bitch’s shit when I spoke to her last night.

Lacey’s nostrils flare, her chest heaving as anger radiates from her, and she shouts, “You can’t do this!”

I shrug, crossing my arms over my chest, and admit, “We already have, the vote was locked out, and because I brought you in because I believed you wanted to be a mother, but you turned out to be a patch chaser, the whole club doesn’t need to vote only the officers so fuck off!”

“I’ll get full custody of Tate. I’ll tell the judge you abuse her and the brothers sexually abuse her!” she threatens, clutching at straws.

Venom grips her arm, squeezing tight, making her gasp as he mutters, “Go ahead bitch. I dare you because this place is full of cameras, and I’m pretty sure poking holes in condoms and snorting coke while pregnant and trying to sell it to high schools will get you time.” he leans down as her tears fall, “The only reason why you do not have your neck snapped is because yougave birth to Tate so if I was you, I’d run before Fury decides to say fuck it and shoot you in the head!”

He shoves her hard, making her stumble, and Venom commands, “Trent, throw out the trash!”

I hear the brothers in the common room cheer proving they all would have voted for her to leave as Trent grabs Lacey and drags her across the room before Venom slams the door and Medic mutters, “Good fucking riddance,” I sit down, finally feeling fucking content that she’s gone.

Making her a clubwhore was the biggest mistake of my life.

“Alright, Psycho, how is Dark Angel’s Tats doing?” Blade asks as he bangs the gavel on the table, gaining everyone’s attention, and I settle back in my chair, listening as Psycho goes over the numbers for the tattoo shop the club runs while trying to come up with scenarios to make Sky mine again.

I sigh as I walk out of the common room with back slaps and into the parking lot an hour later, with one place in my mind to go, thanks to Anna.

It’s time to get my girl back.

“You off to see Skylar?” Venom asks as he follows me out, and I climb on my bike next to his and nod as I grab my shades, putting them on.

“Yeah, I’ve got her address, she’s not staying at the trailer,” I admit.

“No shit,” he says, and I nod.

Everyone, including me, until I found out the truth not long ago, believed Sky lived with Melissa. Which is why none of us went there, not willing to cause trouble, only trying to get Sky to speak to us in the streets, but turns out Anna set her up nicely. I swear the more I hear on how she treated my girl over the years, the more respect I have towards her.

She only went to that trailer to confront Melissa, and instead, she found herself a daughter who happened to be her husband’s biological child.

The door opens, and we look to see Brick and Anna walk out.

He’s close to her, but not touching, knowing it isn’t welcome, and I sigh, seeing the conflicted look on Anna’s face.

She loves him. I mean, together for thirty years, she’s bound to love him with everything, but as Skylar said, love doesn’t me jack shit without trust. With what Anna went through, what Brick allowed himself to think then did just to hurt her, he lost her trust years ago, and she wants out while her heart is struggling with leaving him.

“Another therapy session?” Venom confirms, and I nod as Brick opens the passenger door to his Charger, knowing full well she won’t go on the back of his bike.

The last time was before she was raped or so Mama said. Apparently they were the it couple, until Brick allowed women to flirt with him, liking the attention because of his cut, something Anna was with him before he even got.

“Wonder if she’ll finally open up to him today,” Venom mutters, but I just shake my head, knowing full well she won’t, as Brick drives through the gate, giving us a one-finger salute.

For her to open up, Skylar needs to be ready to learn to forgive Brick and Blade. That is what is holding Anna back, her daughter who isn’t prepared for the club just yet, and Anna knows as soon as Brick finds out about her ordeal, things will fucking kick-off and he’ll never allow her out of his sight again, well, that is if he doesn’t try killing himself out of guilt first, meaning Sky will be around him a lot.

Sighing, I start my bike, look at Venom, and confirm, “You’re on Viper watch?”

He nods and agrees, “I am,” then sighs, “the fucker is a loose cannon since the shit show.”

And by shit show, he means Hudson being released from hospital and Lake, Randy’s daughter, who was dancing around the club's diner with the cute kid in her arms, bumping into Viper. He turned out to be her man but didn’t know he was a brother while he didn’t know she was Cherri’s daughter and called her a patch chaser.

He’s been on the warpath ever since because as soon as he admitted to fucking Cherri to hurt her, believing she only wanted his patch, she wanted fuck all to do with him, and we lost our best mechanic in the process.

“What the fuck!” Blade shouts as Randy punches Viper in the face, his head swinging to the side at the impact, making me wince as I quickly run up behind the man and grab him before he hits Viper again, who glares at the man, his lip breathing.

“You think you can get away with calling my daughter a fucking patch chaser all because of that bitch?!” Randy growls as he points at a shocked Cherri while Viper’s glare disappears, and his face pales.
