“Not my fault. I can’t control them.” Adrian throws up his hands.

“It’s cool. I have the SUV, remember?” Greyson asks.

He helped us get out of here on Halloween because wraiths were attacking his wards. I should have remembered he had the SUV. His garage is full of cars.

“Yeah, I totally forgot. That would be perfect.” I nod to him.

Greyson stands and throws Raven over his shoulder. “Let me go pack real quick and we can hit the road.”

“Don’t you need to let your pack know?” Raven asks. “We may be gone a while. We are headed east again.”

“I’ll call them from my bedroom.” Greyson smacks her ass and she yelps.

“We’ll go get everything out of the car. Is it going to be okay on the street?” I ask.

Nothing can happen to Jayden’s car. We need it. Raven’s car is too small to take on missions with the guys.

“It will be fine. These are pack lands. No one would dare mess with a car parked in front of my house.” Greyson marches up the stairs with a squealing Raven over his shoulder.

Jayden grips my hand and we walk side by side to the front door to grab our bags, Draven and Adrian following silently behind us.

Releasing Jayden’s hand, I move to the passenger side of the car and grab my bag from the floorboard, but Jayden is there in a second, taking it and hefting it onto his shoulder.

“You know I can carry my own bag, right?” I tease him.

Jayden smirks. “Yeah, but I like doing things for you.”

Jayden kisses my forehead and a growl sounds behind me. My shoulders slump. Draven definitely isn’t over being an entitled asshole.

Electricity crackles on my fingers and I spin to face him. “Do you have a problem?”

“All this PDA is disgusting. I really hope I don’t have to put up with it the entire trip.” Draven stalks off back to Greyson’s front door.

“He really is a fuckwit, isn’t he?” I say mostly to myself.

Jayden chuckles and I shiver at the husky sound. His laugh and his smiles should be illegal. I swear my panties catch on fire every time.

“C’mon, baby.” Jayden reaches for my hand. “We need to get moving.”

Yeah, we need to get moving. So far, the trip has been quiet, but how long will that last?

“Nice cars,” Adrian mumbles as he glances around the garage.

The garage is more like a showroom for fancy cars than any real garage I’ve seen. Greyson has several classic muscle cars and even a few motorcycles, but he grabs the keys to the giant black SUV and tosses them to Jayden with a grin.

“I haven’t seen my mate in weeks, so you drive.” Greyson struts to the back door of the SUV and opens it for Raven.

Raven hops into the seat in the middle but before Greyson can get in, Draven pushes past him.

“What do you think you’re doing?” Raven asks. “Greyson sits by me.”

“Then where am I supposed to sit?” Draven whines.

“You sit in the back with Adrian. Greyson helps with navigating; he needs to be behind Jayden.”

“I could navigate. You two should sit in the back.” Draven crosses his arms.
