“Hungry, baby?”

“My stomach is an asshole,” I grumble.

He gets up from the bed completely naked and walks over to the cart with the food.

I wipe my chin to make sure I’m not drooling. I am openly ogling his ass when he turns with a plate in one hand and one of the pink cocktails in the other and brings them over to the bed.

“Were you just checking out my ass?” He kisses my forehead, handing me the glass and the plate, and I sit up.

The delicious smells hitting my nose make me groan.

“What? No. I wasn’t doing that.” I grin, but my cheeks must turn pink because he chuckles.

“You can check out my ass as much as you want, pretty girl.” He turns back, grabs another plate of food and the other glass of pink liquid, and sits back on the bed.

His arm brushes mine. He has a brochure in his hand, and I cock an eyebrow at it as I shove a forkful of some kind of barbeque meat into my mouth.

The sauce makes my mouth water as it bursts across my taste buds.

“They have an excellent staff here,” I groan. “What’s that?”

“It was on the cart with the food. Looks like they have an indoor adventure park here. You wanna try it later?”

I’m about to protest, but it dies on my tongue when I take a sip of the pink drink.

“Aren’t we supposed to be going somewhere?” I ask, confused, but the thought disappears when I look at the brochure again. “Simulated skydiving? That sounds fun.”

“Wait, arewe supposed to be going somewhere?” Jayden scratches his head while he takes a sip of his drink, and his eyes cloud over. “Skydiving does sound fun. As a son of Hades, I can’t really go in the sky, so that would be awesome.”

Jayden grins, and I forgot how illegal that grin should be. But wait, why did I forget?

I take another sip of my drink and shrug. It doesn’t matter. We’re going to have some fun.

“Eat and we can go check this stuff out. I feel wild and just want to do everything.” I bounce a little on the bed but make sure to keep a hand on the glass of pink goodness so it doesn’t spill.

“Absolutely. Me too. Let’s hurry.” Jayden grins and shovels food in his mouth, groaning at the taste.

We finish quickly and get dressed. I don’t even comment on how in the hell our bags got into our room from the car.

It’s weird, but it’s not important, so I brush it off. The bellhop probably brought them up when they got our room ready last night.

“Ready, baby?” Jayden wraps his arm around my waist, kissing my hair, and I melt into his side.

I tell the little voice in the back of my head that says this isn’t right to shut the hell up as we walk out the door.

“Beth?” Raven catches up to us in the hallway, confused and pointedly looking at Jayden’s arm around me. “What’s going on?”

“They have an indoor adventure park, and we’re going down to have some fun. You and Greyson should come with us.” I bounce on the tips of my toes.

“What about the mission, Beth?” Raven scowls at me, and I cock my head to the side, trying to figure out what she’s talking about.

What mission? There’s something important in the back of my mind, but I still can’t grasp it.

“How many of those pink drinks have you guys had?” Greyson asks, walking up next to Raven.

“Two, why?” Jayden’s whole body stiffens next to mine.

What the hell is going on here?
