“Oh, my bad. Well-hung. You’re sooo well-hung.”

I laugh.

“Take your shirt off. I want you to see your muscles bulge when you’re pushing inside of me.”

“Of course. It’s important to focus on the bulge.” I take off the shirt so fast I’m sure I popped a few buttons.

She runs her fingers through my hair. “I love your sense of humor. I love your sexy body. I love your personality and ah…” she lets out a gasp when I thrust into her.

“I know…you also love my cock.”

“I do,” she says, thrusting her hips up to meet mine. “It’s so fucking perfect. So big and when you’re in me, you’re filling me so deep.”

“You like that?” I take her nipple between my lips and nip at it.

“Oh…yes…”

I push my cock into her. “Then say you want more.”

“More,” she says immediately.

“You want me touching your ass? Yeah?” I ease a finger between her ass cheeks and stroke the valley there.

She thrashes her head from side to side. “Wilder…”

“I know, honey…you want to give me that come, don’t you?”

“I do…I do…”

“What do you say?”

“More, more…more…please…right there…” She arches her back, pushing her pelvis down and I drive into her, finding my own release jointly while she cries out my name.

Afterward, we snuggle together in bed, catching our breath and resting. Once we work up the energy to move, we shower together, planning to call it a night and sleep wrapped in each other’s arms.

Except I haven’t had enough of her, and she hasn’t had enough of me and we end up loving the night away. Then we’re both exhausted and though she falls asleep with her head on my chest, I find sleep won’t come for me. I’m too busy making plans to secure a future with this woman. The only thing left is to get her to say yes.

Chapter 8

Aspen

I haven’t heard from Wilder, which is unusual given that he’s been sending me a good morning text all week. Taking out my phone, I check the messages. Nothing. He was already gone when I woke up this morning though there was a note on the table telling me he loved me.

I get up to check out the window. There’s a heart shaped note in Wilder’s handwriting taped to the outside that instructs me to go to the Fairy Flower Garden. This is a popular place for dating couples that’s located outside near the town’s small museum.

Each of the sections features a different themed fairy garden. The walkways are all lined with flowers and there are a few mini waterfall pools. At night, the place is lit with thousands of tiny white lights and everything looks magical.

I’m guessing that Wilder wants us to have lunch at one of the benches there, so I take a few minutes to pack a lunch basket before I drive the ranch truck to town.

My car is deciding on an almost daily basis if it wants to run or not but it’s not the stressor that it used to be since I can walk to the ranch house from my cabin if I need to.

As I drive through town and wave at some of the locals I know, I reflect on how grateful I am that I was able to geta job working where I do. Otherwise, I wouldn’t have found this community. Wouldn’t have found the love of a wonderful cowboy.

My life in Lucky River is a far cry from the one I had in Clover County. I park the truck across from the old-fashioned pharmacy and get out.

Butterfly Buck and Claudia greet me as they’re crossing the street. She’s holding tightly to his arm and winks at me as she calls out, “I’ve got to lead the old folks across the street to keep them safe.”

I laugh at that given that Claudia is in her nineties. Reaching back into the truck, I get the basket of food and then walk to the entrance of the Garden.
