The gunfight was easy. We took down men who were supposed to be ours. Some put down their weapons when they realized it was Falcone soldiers storming the estate. Others kept the fight going because they had no loyalty to the Falcone bloodline. Good riddance. I was covered in sweat and blood, my patience wearing thin because I couldn't find Rose. We found the safe room and Romano had the pass code written on a sticky note by the door. How stupid could he be? He was inside, but the girls weren't.
I strapped him to a chair in his office and interrogated him, "Where are the women?" I punched him in the face. It felt good.
He spat out some blood and cackled. "The slaves are hidden. You'll never find them, and they're too afraid to come out."
I knew that wasn't true. He had barely had my little thorn, and there was no way she would be afraid to get away from Romano.
"Sir." Three foot soldiers dragged two bodies between them—Eunji and Rosalina. I let out a sigh of relief.
"Nick?" Rose gasped like she was shocked to see me.
"Little thorn," I murmured as I gathered her against me. I looked up to see Vittorio punch one of the soldiers in the face.
"Mine," he snarled and lifted a squealing Eunji over his shoulder. He shot me a look and then left. Eunji was screaming and hitting him in the back, yelling for him to put her down. I saw him smack her ass three times and she settled. Vittorio might be a secret Daddy Dom. I chuckled at the thought.
"Take him to the warehouse and keep him on ice." I motioned to Romano. Then I lifted my little thorn bridal style in my arms. We needed to get reacquainted.
