I wasn't sure how much time passed with me touching and learning every nook and cranny on Araceli's body. I fondled her from the dyed blue roots of her hair to the soles of her feet. The pilot texted me and let me know that the plane landed and was ready for taking off. I redressed myfiorein the robe. This was Vegas, no one would care what she wore. I lifted her and carried her and my go-bag out of the room and headed down the corridor to the elevators.

"Excuse me, sir," a nasal voice stopped me in my tracks.

I turned a little to see a well-dressed man flagging me down.

"Can I help you?" I wasn't afraid of getting caught. This may not be our territory, but it was our club and no one would stop me from leaving with my package.

"What's wrong with her?" He nodded towards Araceli's limp form in my arms.

"She had too much to drink at the Picone party," I name-dropped.

"Oh, the Picone party, you say?"

I nodded my head again. No need to disrupt if it wasn't necessary. "I was a part of the party. Me and my wife." I tilted Araceli's face away from him, tucking her closer to my body.

"Oh, I'm so s-sorry," the man stammered.

I nodded again and then turned towards the elevators, dismissing him. If I acted like there was nothing wrong, then I wouldn't be questioned. If I hurried along, it would be suspicious. I kept my pace and got on the elevator. I didn't see the little guy again.

I headed out of the hotel with no more fanfare. I stole a car from one of Agosto's fleet and away we went. The trip to the airstrip wasn't far and the flight attendant met me at the bottom of the stairs. She had no questions. She showed me where the room was in the back so I could lay Araceli down and get her comfortable. I spoke with a foot soldier and had him agree to pick up the car I left on the tarmac. I re-dosed Araceli and lay beside her to catch some well-needed sleep.

When we landed, I hopped into another vehicle that one of my men left for me at the airport. I drove to the compound, loving the silence. No one would be home for a few more days, so I would have my littlefioreto myself. I pulled up to the compound and brought my prize inside. She was going to be furious when she woke up, and I was anticipating it.

Araceli may be the one. The one I get to keep. The one who won't leave me. The fact that she was in a different state didn't deter me. She was on my turf. She was in my territory. It was going to be much harder for her to leave me.
