“Me too!” said Breezy. “I’m going in a rainbow colored bell bottom jumpsuit. And I found the cutest disco ball earrings that I love!”

“Hey, not to change the subject,” Rory said. “Lele, I have my Daddy created, and I joined the Darling World. My Daddy and I have a unicorn farm. What else do I need to do?”

“I love that game, Lele!” Winnie said. “Even my Daddy loves it. It’s one of the few video games Daddy will play.”

“Same.” Suzi nodded. “Deke’s not really into building things, but he loves to have the characters do things he thinks up. Last week, his Daddy character took my Little character fishing. Um, has anybody else almost gotten a spanking for something their character did in the game?”

Everyone raised their hand.

“That’s part of the fun of the game,” Lele explained. “In Daddy’s Little World, you can just be crazy, or you can talk about things or explore things you don’t feel comfortable talking about in real life. And you would not believe how many people create accounts who don’t have a Daddy or Mommy or Little in real life. It lets them sink into that world.”

“I love all the friends I’ve made,” Georgia said. “I talk to people all over the world who aren’t in the lifestyle at all but just want to learn what it’s about.”

Hearing so many good things about the game she’d created was such a rush. She wanted to tell Georgia about the VR Bucket List Bonanza game she was working on, but it was supposed to be a Christmas gift from Hutch.

Faster than a blink, her Daddy was back, telling everyone it wastime to go. She would never admit it to Sawyer, but she really was kind of tired. Of course, the huge yawns she hadn’t been able to hold back probably gave her away.

At the door, she reminded everyone, “Don’t forget to pick up your mo-peds at the bike rental shop if you want to take part in the moped parade.”

She hoped her language didn’t offend Lola Motor-Bunny. After all, being put in the moped category was a bit demeaning. It was just the Daddies got antsy whenever they heard their Little talking about motorcycles. Sheesh.

Once everyone left, Sawyer carried her to their bedroom. She really didn’t mind how much better she felt after a nap. The fentanyl shot Hector had given her had messed up her sleep patterns like crazy.

The problem was she never felt sleepy when she first lay down. Sometimes she spent her entire naptime trying to get to sleep. With everything going on tonight, she figured today would be one of those no-nap days.

Sawyer lifted her to the bed and helped her undress and put on her jammies. Once she was tucked in with Lucky by her side, her Daddy lay down beside her.

“Have I told you this afternoon how much I love you, Half-Pint?”

“Hm, let’s see. It’s three o’clock, so you’ve told me three times. Plus the six times you told me this morning. Have I told you this afternoon I have the best Daddy in the whole world?”

“I think that makes nine for you as well, babygirl. Now go to sleep.”

“But what if I’m not sleepy?”

“Go to sleep anyway.”

“Daddy! You can’t just go to sleep anyway when you aren’t sleepy. Will you hum the song to me?”

“The song?”

“Uh-huh. The one you always hum. What’s the name of it?”

“Well, let’s see. I guess it’s called Lele’s Lullaby.”

She propped up on her elbows. “Wait. You made up that song?”

He shrugged. “I guess. You needed comforting that day, and I hummed the tune as it came to me.”

“Daddy.” Could her heart get any fuller without bursting? She didn’t see how. “I’ve never had anyone compose a song for me before.”

“Lay back down, Half-Pint. Don’t go telling anybody I compose songs. It will mess with my alpha-Daddy persona.”

She giggled. “Well, can you sing me Lele’s Lullaby?”

“Of course, babygirl. Tonight, you are making me the happiest Daddy in the world. I’ll do anything for you.”

“Does that mean you’ll wear the John Travolta iconic white suit and wig tonight for the wedding?”
