I sit up with a start, my heart racing as I realize I’m lying on top of Darke, our bodies tangled together. I look around, trying to remember how we ended up like this. The room is unfamiliar, but I recall coming to Darke’s place last night.
And we kissed.
Darke stirs beneath me, his eyes fluttering open. He smiles, his face relaxed and content. “Hey, sleepyhead,” he says, his voice husky.
I feel a rush of embarrassment and excitement. “Oh my god, I’m so sorry,” I say, trying to scramble off him.
Darke chuckles and wraps his arms around me, holding me in place. “No need to apologize, Bobby. I liked waking up with you on top of me.”
I blush, feeling a flutter in my chest. “I don’t remember how we ended up like this,” I admit.
Darke’s smile turns mischievous. “Let’s just say we got a little cozy after our kiss.”
We had sex. I grin remembering, “Cozy, huh?”
I get up and start to get to dress, Darke following suit.
As I dress, Darke’s eyes follow my every move, his gaze burning with intensity. I can feel his eyes on me, and it makes me shiver. I try to play it cool, but I can’t help sneaking glances at him.
Once I’m dressed, I turn to face him. “So, uh, last night was…interesting,” I say, trying to break the silence.
Darke chuckles, his eyes crinkling at the corners. “Interesting?” he repeats, his voice low and husky. “I’d say it was more than that, Bobby.”
I blush, feeling a flutter in my chest. “Yeah, maybe you’re right,” I admit.
He walks over to me, his eyes locked onto mine. “I had a great time last night, Bobby,” he says, his voice sincere. “Would you like to do it again, my little prince?” He says towering over me.
That nickname gets me all the time. And for some reason, I say “Yes, I would, my beast.”
He chuckles. “So now you’re calling me nicknames?” Darke’s eyes sparkle with amusement, and he leans in closer, his voice taking on a playful tone. “I like it, my little prince. It suits me, don’t you think?”
Of course it does, I tell myself.
I blush, feeling a rush of excitement at the nickname. “Maybe,” I reply, trying to sound nonchalant.
Darke chuckles, as he leans his face to the side of my right ear. “I think it suits us perfectly,” he whispers, his breath tickling my ear. “The beast and his little prince.”
I shiver at the sensation, feeling a deep connection to Darke. “Maybe you’re right,” I admit, my voice barely above a whisper.
Darke pulls back, his eyes locked onto mine. “I know I am,” he says, his voice filled with conviction. “Now, how about we make some breakfast, and then I’ll take you home?”
“Sounds good, my beast.” I grin with mischievous.

DARKE
The morning sun filtered through the kitchen window as we finished our breakfast, a lazy contentment settling over us. As I drove Bobby home, a pang of disappointment tugged at my heart. I wanted to savor these quiet moments with him, to stretch them into eternity. But the demands of our lives beckoned.
“Thanks for last night and this morning,” Bobby said, his smile a warm beacon as we stood at his doorstep.
My heart swelled with affection. “Anytime, my little prince.” I leaned in, capturing his lips in a tender kiss. The world narrowed to just us, the rest of the world fading into obscurity.
We broke apart, breathless and intoxicated. “I had an amazing time, Darke,” he confessed, his eyes filled with a shy vulnerability.
“Do you…” His voice trailed off, a blush creeping up his cheeks.
Intrigue sparked within me. “Do you what, little prince?”
