“Fuck man,” Zac said, obviously watching Logan get on the ride he just got off of. “Brade, get your fucking ass in here. Elle needs you.”
That was pretty much the last thing spoken in normal language while the three vampires and I fucked hard all night long. New positions, in the damn shower, up against the wall—we literally fucked all over the third floor, driven by ecstasy, desire, and this compelling urge to continue climaxing together and my drive to juice these vampires up with the blood and fucking connection we’d never experienced before until now.
Shit. This was deepening the bond, and we all knew it. Our bodies and souls all called to each other. We knew together this is what we needed. This was the level we needed to be connected to, now that it was available. The vampires hadn’t fucked me since I mated with Zane, and I knew that’s what the difference was. It wasn’t just in my blood anymore, it in every part of me. Our minds all gained a new level of strength once Logan finally relaxed me, and I opened up to what was really going on. This entire time, my body knew it needed to reconnect with the vampires after mating with Zane. This was the final key to securing all of us.
Cole was the only one who was disconnected from this new level me, Zac, Logan, and Braden had hit. Though, when my alpha vamp got back, we would have to find a way to bring him onto this level we’d achieved. I could sense it from here that he was now the weakest one, and he couldn’t go to Enzo like that. Zac, Logan, and Braden were ready. Cole wasn’t, Zane wasn’t either. I was the center of this strange power that ignited far beyond emotions and sensations. We were dominant and ready.
We just needed to make sure we all felt this way.

Iwalked between Logan and Braden, Zac taking the lead as we headed downstairs, where we heard shouting coming from the living room.
“They know,” Zac said, looking back with a confused expression. “How the hell am I sensing what they know? What am I, suddenly a mind reader now?”
“It’s got to be because of what went down with us last night. I feel like I have more strength than I’ve ever had,” Braden answered.
“Why am I not feeling any more special?” I whispered.
“I’m sure there are changes, they just might not be opened up with you yet,” Logan answered. “I can sense more to you on a mental level, but it’s strange.”
We all stopped before turning the corner.
“What does that mean?” I asked.
“I wish I could tell you, but I have no idea,” Logan said. “You have a higher mental power, but it’s like you’re the lock, and something else is the key.”
“I’m sure we’ll figure more of what happened to all of us out last night when Cole gets back,” Zac said. “Don’t forget, he’s the only one of us who hasn’t connected with Elle after she mated with Zane. He hasn’t had that blood yet.”
“Maybe he’s my other mental half?” I smirked.
“Perhaps,” Braden said, “But let’s find out what the hell is going on with all the shouting down here.”
“They know Elle’s our Life Blood,” Zac whispered to Braden as if to prep the vamp who’d proclaimed his strength was off the charts to get on defense.
“Why didn’t you let us know that you had a Life Blood with you?” some shaggy-haired blonde dude asked.
“Because that wasn’t your business, dog,” Logan said, his eyes dangerously darting around to the mob that seemed to form the minute we stepped into the room.
“Fuck you,” the shifter spit out onto the floor in front of Logan’s foot.
Braden pulled me close to his side. “All of you either get on our side, or you’re dead,” he threatened.
“Um, sort of hard to decide for any of us right now,” Alexi said as she eyed me. “None of us could rest with all of your fucking last night, you sick fuckers.”
“Someone jealous?” Zac taunted.
“You all were drunk on her lifeblood.” Alexi’s eyes narrowed at Zac, then she looked at me, “It’s the only reason, little human, that these Banners would touch a little girl like you without a ten-foot pole.”
“Shut the hell up, you jealous bitch,” I snapped, feeling the intense gazes pressuring me to want to mentally smoke these assholes.
I felt a boiling under the surface of my skin with the feelings of an unstable atmosphere looming in the air. They were hostile and weren’t going to deescalate their moods anytime soon. Alexi was just a dumb, jealous bitch who wished I was dead, but the rest who’d mobbed-up in front of us wanted me as their personal boost with whatevergolden bloodI had running in my system. This information didn’t come to me like it usually would by merelyreading the room.It was like Iknewit. I felt their intentions—all of them—to my core.
“Get the thought out of your heads, or I swear this is the last warning you’ll all get,” Braden said dangerously.
“We need to work on plans to convince Enzo to join our cause against a greater war,” I said, hoping they’d remember why they had been invited to the Banner’s house in the first place.
“I’d rather us all get a little blood—” The vamp’s throat was gripped by Braden, and after squeezing the dude’s neck and crushing it, red particles of dust was all that remained of the vamp on the ground.
