Once I finished, Zac had his pants up and concealing my new friend from me almost immediately. He helped me to my feet and kissed my forehead. “Baby, thank you. Well, I’m thoroughly serviced now,” he tilted my chin up with his finger and smiled. “I could have fucked you,” he arched an eyebrow at me, “but I’d rather save that for a time where it could last all damn day if you wanted it to. Right now, my mind is more focused on kicking serious ass.” He bent and kissed my lips, “You’re as sexy as fuck, you know? When we finally fuck, it’s going to last, and you’re going to be in heaven.”
He stepped past me and eyed my now completely naked body with a greedy smile.
“Why don’t you hurry up and kick their asses and we can finish this the right way,” I smiled.
“I like the sound of that. Listen up, now. I’ll handle these assholes. We’re just reaching the altitude where my phone will connect with the plane, and I need you to call the guys. Tell them the plane will be late, but that I’m handling these dicks, and then we’ll be landing as soon as possible.”
“Passcode to your cell?”
“Fuck you,” he smirked.
“Fuck me? Fuckyou!”
He laughed, “My passcode, baby,” he winked, “It’sfuck you, all upper case.
“Ah, very original.”
“It’s why I chose it.” He nodded at me, “Keep the guys on the phone until I come back for you.”
“You think you can take these guys?” I asked.
He smiled. “You just juiced me up with something I haven’t ever experienced before. I’ve never felt so fucking strong and ready to riot in all my life.”
Zac was right. He handled the two who high jacked the plane in a matter of seconds. After interrogating of one of them, Zac found out they and the ones who his cousins had killed were the only shifters created before Enzo’s witch killed herself for reasons the guy didn’t know.
The plane was set to land ahead of the rest of the cousins.
“You doing okay?” Zac offered an irresistible smile.
“I’m just glad you’re safe,” I answered with a smile, as I sat on the couch in the open seating area.
“I’m just gladyou’resafe,” he teased. “Seriously though, I’m glad I trusted you. I couldn’t have taken them on without your blood. Damn, I owe you, baby girl.”
“Yeah, you do.” I arched a brow at him. “Once shit settles down, I’d like to take you up on that sex all day idea!”
Zac smirked, “You have no idea how hard it is going to be to get this shit behind us.” He went to walk up to the cabin of the plane to take it off autopilot, “And when you least expect it, I am going to fuck that sweet little ass of yours.”
“Promise?”
Zac licked his lips, “It’s all I’m thinking about right now. Should be pretty fucking awesome when it happens.”
He disappeared into the cockpit, and I curled my legs up underneath me on the leather couch. I dropped my head back against the couch and smiled. Shit. I was in it for the win now. No turning back. All bets off. I felt an even tighter connection to the Banners after having helped Zac. They may not have trusted themselves with me, but I trusted them with me, and that’s all that mattered anymore.
It was liberating to not rationalize this shit anymore and just go with what and who I really was. I was a Life Blood, but more than that, I was loved by not just one man of my dreams, I had four of them. I felt it. All of it. Their love for me, and my love for them. It was strong and it was right.
I knew our story was just beginning, but I also knew that I was in it for the long run, for better or worse, and God help us—whatever came our way. The five of us would take Enzo on, we’d rescue mom, and then figure out the rest of our lives together. The only thing on my mind now was getting all my vampires to trust themselves with me. That’s when I knew the magic would start happening. That’s when we would honor the life fate gave all of us.
