“My father,” Daria says.

“What about him?” Mack asks.

“We use my father to lead us to Andrei,” she clarifies.

“How?” I ask.

“I don’t know yet,” Daria says. “But I’ll think of something. I guarantee he knows I’m here. Or he will soon. When he does, he’ll want to talk. His ego won’t allow him not to confront me.”

“Sounds like a plan,” Reed says.

“As long as it doesn’t put Daria in danger,” Mack adds.

“You realize she’s a trained assassin, right?” Roxie asks.

“With the use of one arm and an emotional attachment to the subject,” Mack says.

“She’s sitting right here.” Daria waves at the two of them.

Roxie’s stomach growls loud enough I hear it from sitting next to her.

“Anyone else want dinner?” I interject, needing a respite from the constant talking. “Why don’t we order room service, take a little break, and get back to it after?” I toss the room service menu on the coffee table and head into the bathroom to check my stitches since I’m almost positive I’m bleeding again.
