Epilogue
Wynn
One Year Later...
Winter is the best season in my humble opinion.
There is just something about a fresh snowfall, the warm winter sunshine, and of course, the holiday seasons. Most of my holidays I spent alone. A few years ago, I started going to Jillian’s place to celebrate. I never had my own place to spice up with twinkling lights and a festive tree.
“Is this one big enough, honey?”
Turning as the front door bangs open, I laugh. Wylder stands in the door, dusted with snow, a massive pine tree beside him. Even as big as he is, this thine towers over him. He has been looking for the perfect tree for me all week.
“This is it. Baby, this one isperfect.”
Wylder beams a stunning smile at me, turning back to the porch. I laugh because I know there are probably a few more trees out there. His look is telling them they won’t be needed this year. I will find a use for them, they won’t be sacrificed for nothing.
“Good thing. I cut down half the yard, honey.”
Laughing because he is only slightly over
One Yr Later, Wynn and Wylder are having their wedding at the big barn. They want to settle on their own ranch someday and mention fellow falls.
