"N-no, it's okay."

"I'm gonna use your bathroom."

I sit there staring at where he was long after he's closed the door behind him trying to convince myself that convincing him to stay and blowing off any commitments we both have today is a really bad idea.

When the sound of the faucet running hits my ears, I remember that I'm meant to be doing something and I jump from the bed, reluctantly dragging his shirt from my body as I walk toward my dresser.

I pull on a tank before lifting his shirt to my nose for one last sniff. Unfortunately, that's exactly how Leon finds me when he walks back into my room.

"Damn, Red," he mutters with a wide smile on my face.

"I'm sorry. Here," I say handing his shirt over.

"Never be sorry for looking like that."

His eyes leisurely run over my body as if I'm standing naked, not in a tank and panties.

"I'll pick you up at seven, okay?"

"S-seven?" I ask, thinking it's a little early for any kind of college party.

"Yeah. We're going for dinner first."

"Another date?"

"Yeah, Red. Another date," he says reaching for my hand once he's pulled his shirt on and drags me into his body. "That okay?"

"More than okay. I can't wait."

His hand slides up my throat before stopping once it's cupping my jaw.

"Good. I'll see you later then."

He drops a chaste kiss to my lips before slipping out of my room.

I suck in a deep breath and drop down onto the end of my bed, lifting my fingers to my lips as I remember everything that happened in here over the past few hours.

It only takes two minutes tops for someone to knock on my door. Rushing over to my chair, I wrap an oversized cardigan around my body and call out for them to come in as I sit back on my bed.

The door swings open and I find Nathan leaning against the frame with a smug smirk playing on his lips.

"Don't even say it," I mutter.

He holds his hands up in defense as his smile gets wider.

"I wasn't going to say anything, Mace."

I quirk a brow at him.

"You okay?" he asks, his face turning serious.

"Yeah, I'm good. Possibly making the biggest mistake of my life, but for once, I could care less."

"That's… good, I think."

"Yeah, maybe it’s about time I embrace college life, huh?"

"As long as it makes you happy."
