"Yeah. But if my choice is watching you or not watching you—"

"Wouldn't that hurt?" My teeth sink into my lips. "And where's the consent here? Am I giving you permission to watch or are you spying?"

His laugh gets louder. "It's a fantasy, princess. It's not supposed to make sense."

"So you fantasize about watching me with another—"

"About watching you fuck yourself, yeah." He brings his lips to my neck. "Why? You want to make my dreams come true?"

My sex clenches. God, that's a hot idea. For a second, I forget I'm freezing cold. I nodyeah.

His lips curl into a smile.

"You're like dreamy Matt right now."

His chuckle lights up his eyes. "He has pretty eyes."

"Not as pretty as yours."

"He's more charming than I am."

"Yeah." He presses his palm into my lower back.

"Are you okay to drive?"

"I walked."

"It's freezing."

"I can go inside. Get your coat." He pulls me closer. "Or you can take my shirt."

"You'll be cold."

"And you'll get a view."

It's a tempting offer, but I shake my head.

His smile spreads over his cheeks.

That's not a healthy response. By all accounts, by Chase's account, she never did him wrong. She broke up with him because it was best for both of them.

Even if it was only best for her, how is that different than what I've asked of Chase?

At the end of the day, a girl's got to look out for herself.

I turn to the sound.

Grace waves hello. She moves closer. She's, well, graceful in her floor length orange dress.

Princess Buttercup.
