I hit send and waited. Ten minutes later, she replied.

Can't make it tomorrow. Saturday?

I smiled and responded quickly.Okay.

I waited for Sabrina outside her house Saturday evening. She told me not to go inside to save me the trouble of meeting her parents. Although it meant I wouldn't have the chance to see Aiden either, I agreed.

She stepped out of the house in a fabulous green dress with a plunging neckline, showing off her creamy cleavage and shoulders.

Her hips swayed a bit as she walked toward my car and I couldn't take my eyes off her.

I went out and opened the car door for her, restraining my urge to hold her, and stamped a chaste kiss on each of her cheeks instead.

"So, where are you taking me?" she asked as soon as we were both securely buckled up.

"Sun and Moon on Vermont. You like Korean food, don't you?"

Her mouth opened. "How the hell did you know? I don't think it was a question on my grad application."

I chuckled. "No. But you told me that night at Ruby's."

"What? That was a long time ago,” she said with a giggle. “Do you really remember everything about me? And what else did I tell you that night?"

"Lots of things," I wiggled my eyebrows.

That made her curious. "What? Tell me, please!" She slapped my arm.

"Ouch. Okay. Promise you won't hit me again."

After she made the promise, I said with a smirk, "You told me that I looked like Will in Shakespeare in Love."

She blinked. “I did? Wait, I might have. I watched that film right around the final to write a paper for my English literature class. It was probably in my head when I met you.”

I paused for a second, deciding whether I should remind her of the rest. "You also said you would like to be my Viola, the woman Shakespeare had an affair with.”

She covered her face with her hands. “I didn't say that. You made it up!"

"You did!" I laughed. "Come on. No need to be embarrassed. It was a cute comment, and flattering. And by the way, you did look like Gwyneth Paltrow in the movie, with your hair pulled back."

She blinked as if to recall her hairstyle that night. “Okay. I probably copied the actress’s hairstyle at the time. I spent a long time doing my hair for dinner with Kevin…my ex. I even braided the sides before pinning them to the back.”

The mention of her ex made me jealous even though the jerk didn’t deserve her.

"You have no idea how often I watched that damn film after that night," I said after a moment's silence.

"You did?" Her eyes brightened.

"Yeah. It was a great film. I never cared for romance movies, not to mention a romance movie almost as old as me. But I cried at the end when the two lovers parted ways," I said. "It was so sad."

"Me too. It wasn’t a happy ever after.”

"You're just like Viola, appeared and then out of my life like a beautiful dream,” I couldn’t help but add.

She gazed at me with her shimmering hazel eyes as if touched by my poetic line. "Wow, you sound just like Shakespeare."

"Except I'm luckier than him. I've got a second chance with you." I turned to glance at her intensely, making her shiver.

Her eyes were filled with tears as she reached a hand to hold my arm.
