The truth is that I got all the knowledge from online resources. When I first started my chat line, I spent hours each day on the internet to browse topics such as “how to pleasure a woman” and “how to turn on a guy.” I know my advice works because of the feedback I get from people who thank me for my help. I only wish I can verify it myself.
After a few more calls, including a guy asking advice on how to give his girlfriend an orgasm, and a girl asking how to give blowjobs, I hear a knock on my door, and I know Mike is back. I stop working as soon as my last caller hangs up.
Chapter 4
Mike
Even though it’s a weekend, the beach near my house isn’t crowded at all. There are only a few couples around and a few joggers.
I try to keep a distance between us as we walk, but Kitty wouldn’t give me a chance. She takes my arm as soon as we’re out of my house. I feel almost as if we’re back in the old days, and she’s still that sweet little girl. I have the impulse to hold her up and give her a piggy ride, but I know I can’t do that anymore.
When we’re near the shore, Kitty squeals as she stretches. “Oh my God! It’s so nice here! A perfect place to do yoga!”
She bends one leg and slides the other one away while straightening it, and then she bends her body sideways, raising an arm high.
“That’s beautiful,” I say. “Since when have you taken up yoga?”
“Since high school,” she says while straightening her body.
And then she bends forward, her hands pressing into the sand. She does it effortlessly as if she’s boneless. I whistle. I tried yoga a while back, so I know it isn’t as easy as it looks.
She maintains the pose for a second, sticking her cute little bum in the air. It’s all I can do not to give her a playful swat.
After she’s done with her impromptu yoga, we stroll along on the beach.
“So, how’s USC, Kitty?” I ask her.
She pauses before speaking. “It’s an elite school. It has many resources. But…”
“But what?”
“It’s kind of daunting to see so many rich kids around you. Sometimes I feel I don’t belong there,” she says.
I recall that she got into the school on a conditional scholarship and had to maintain a 3.5 GPA to keep it.
“Don’t let it bother you,” I say as I turn to look her in the eye. “You’re no less than them, and you deserve everything they offer you. I wasn’t from a rich family, and I made it through their law school. If I can do it, so can you.”
“Thank you,” she says with a smile. “I’ll try.”
“How is the dorm?”
“Oh, I’m not living on campus,” she says. “I was going to but changed my mind a week before school started.”
“What? Why?” This is unexpected. “Because of money?”
“Not really. I don’t save a lot of money living off-campus, but I just don’t really like to share rooms with people. I share a house with three other girls now, but I have my own room.”
“Is the place you live safe?” I frown. I love the university, but the area isn’t the best in town.
She shrugs. “It’s okay. Only a few blocks away from campus.”
“That doesn’t sound good,” I say. “We’d better get you a safer place to live.”
“What do you mean?” she says with a pout. “It’s safe. At least safer than the time you were there. I just make sure I don’t go out at night.”
“But you can’t always avoid that. I’ve got to speak to your dad about it.”
“Oh please, Mike. That’s unnecessary.” She looks annoyed now. “Dad has too much to worry about already. Debra gave birth to twins last year, and he’s quite busy now.”
