“Ahh,” Colten exclaimed, looking down to the spot where he disappeared into me. He slowly pulled his length out, and it felt like it took forever before he finally slid from me.
He disappeared, and I heard the sink run for a moment before Colten reappeared with a damp paper towel. I took it from him, and he turned around to give me a moment to clean myself up. Honestly, I didn’t care anymore if he watched. It’s not like he hadn’t loved every second of creating the mess.
I hopped off the table, searching for my pants while Colten fixed his clothes. Double-checked that we were both presentable before I allowed Colten to open the door. I expected to come out of the room and face the entire class, but the room was silent and empty. The boxes of evidence were neatly stacked like when we first arrived.
Colten walked over to one of the tables. There was a note on top. He read it quickly and then laughed before handing it to me.
“I left with the rest of the class. Drive her back to campus.”
I took out my phone to text Fynn and let him know that Colten would drive me back to campus, since Nik had to leave with the rest of the class. It would have to be good enough for him. Before I put my phone away, my screen flashed, and I opened the message to see Fynn’s reply.
Fynn:Tell him to take you to Bottoms. I’ll meet you there.

Bottoms
Coltenlookednervous, andI wasn’t sure I had ever seen him look like that before. He had texted Tanner that he was on his way to Bottoms with me, but Tanner hadn’t responded.
“Fynn can block messages from being sent,” I said, figuring that was what Fynn had done. Preventing us from giving anyone a heads up before making a surprise appearance.
“I’m just worried why he doesn’t want Tanner to have a heads up. I might have pissed him off too much,” Colten said, keeping his eyes on the road the entire time.
“We,” I said, making sure if Fynn could listen in, he could hear the distinction. “We pissed him off,” I said again.
Colten’s gaze slid to me for a moment. He looked like he was worried about what that would mean for me. He watched the road for the rest of the drive, honking at the crossing pedestrians when they took too long. We switched lanes at every opportunity as he drove the black Porsche the way he drove his motorcycle.
The neon sign for Tops shone out through the night sky like a beacon. It welcomed me back as Colten turned to park the car inside the garage. I opened the door and felt my nerves creeping up inside me. Letting Colten lead us to the door to Bottoms, but when he pulled, the lock remained fixed.
“What the fuck?”
“He also hacked into your watches,” I said, holding mine up as a reference. “He can change your clearance anytime he wants to,” I explained. “I’m guessing he wants us to go in the front door.”
Colten looked up, above the door, directly at the security camera. He pushed his glasses back up before flipping Fynn off from afar. I laughed lightly.
“Come on, Colten,” I said, extending my arm so he could lead me to the front of the building.
I recognized the bouncer at the entrance. It was one of the twins, but I couldn’t remember which one. They weren’t identical, but you could tell they were siblings. I was pretty sure this was Troy.
“Hey, Nessa!” he exclaimed as soon as Colten and I walked into his line of sight.
“Hey,” I waved as Colten pulled me into the building.
The diamond wall came next, glittering with a thousand facets of light, mesmerizing me the same way it had the first time I stepped foot in Tops. Fynn had been guiding those steps the same way he was guiding my steps now. My heart beat hard but steady in my chest as I realized another truth. Bottoms had been a kind of home to me as well. Or at least when they were with me. Maybe home wasn’t a place but a person. Or four.
We headed over to the door marked with the sign Bottoms, but the lock held its place even when I tried after Colten. My eyes closed as realization dawned on me.
“Colten?” I said, turning back to face him. “Are Tuesday, Thursday, and Friday nights still Bottoms nights?”
Colten looked confused for a moment before realization dawned on him. “Yes,” he sighed.
We turned back around, heading for the door marked Tops. It was the opposite night. Tops was Bottoms. And whatever Fynn wanted to show me was in there. I took a deep breath before opening the door, and the wave of bass from the slow erotic beat the DJ played washed over me.
“Hannah has made a few changes,” Colten yelled as I looked around.
Opposite night now featured mostly nude male entertainment.
“Oh,” I laughed before stifling it with my hand.
