“Ok then,” Mor laughed lightly, turning around and squeezing between Jax’s body and the doorframe to head back into the bedroom. I noticed they didn’t touch, but he didn’t tense up either. She bent over to collect a pile of clothes lying in the corner of the room, the back of Jax’s shirt riding up over her ass. She wasn’t wearing any underwear.
Instantly, I felt my cock start to stiffen. Not that I could stop it, considering I hadn’t seen her in a few days. My lust-filled veins were ready to swoop her into my arms and take off, running for the realm portal. But I’m sure she’s ready for a break after the past few days.
Mor brought the bundle of clothes and shoes into the main room, not bothering to put any other clothing on. “Ok. Ready to go,” she said brightly.
She left me no other option. I scooped her up, tucking her into my body to hide her the best I could. At least the bundle of clothes in her arms hid most of her front. I took off running out of the building and down the stairs. As soon as the bite of the chilled autumn air touched my skin, I pulled on the fire in my veins to keep us warm as I took off for the portal.
“Umm, Jasper,” Mor said, looking up sweetly as she wrapped her arms around my neck. “You know I run faster than you, right?”
“I missed you, Princess, and I wasn’t fond of the idea of anyone else getting a look at you dressed like that. You looked like the very embodiment of lust,” I growled to her as my feet pushed us closer to the portal.
“Ewww. I don’t want to be like your dad,” she laughed, and I couldn’t help a small smile.
I rolled my eyes, truly glad to have her back. I missed her, and not just for her body. I missed that; the random quirky things she does. She brings meaning to the otherwise dark abyss that is eternity.
“Trust me, Princess. You are nothing like my father,” I said back lightly.
“Well, that’s good. Otherwise, it might make for an awkward social event if everyone sees you pull him out on the dance floor.”
This time I couldn’t help the laughter that broke free from me. I looked down at her briefly, and all I saw there was a future. Goals. Dreams. Possibility.
“Let’s get you home.”

Being back at the palace was the only option. We figured, if we were talking about a member of the elite, we needed to stay at the court and observe. Maybe it was a bored demon doing something as harmless as squirrels. But perhaps it was something worse than that. Jax’s father is the perfect example of a demon that would do anything for more power. Justice’s father is another.
The other princes should be in the hunting cabins for the event. That should leave us plenty of opportunities to watch the sins and the other elite. Plus, if we see any of the other princes hanging out in the palace, we can investigate them.
I didn’t stop running until I shut the door to Mor’s bedroom with my tail. I took her over to the bed and deposited her on it. Her knees were pressed together, but her feet sat far apart. Her thighs became a curtain, and I waited for them to part.
Her bedroom door opened as Jax came bursting in, still only wearing a pair of boxers.
“You took all the clothes,” he said accusingly as he pointed to Mor. She still cradled the ball of clothes from the human realm as she laughed lightly.
Jace arrived a moment after, carrying a pair of sweatpants draped over his arm. Jax used his power to snatch them up, floating them to his hand so he could put them on. Justice came in last, a look of confusion on his face like he was trying to hear someone else talking.
“Oh, it feels so good to be back in Hell again,” Mor said, laying back in the bed, stretching her arms high above her head. Her black hair seemed to melt away as the white-blonde reappeared.
I dropped my illusion when I stepped through the realm portal, shedding it like a mortal would a coat upon entering their home. Mor didn’t use an illusion. She had just changed her hair color. She had been confident no one would recognize her. Looking at her now, I could hardly find the mortal version. It was more than simple physical alterations; everything about her now was distinctly demon.
“I will say, I am starved. Would anyone like to offer up some blood?” Mor asked.
I was standing closest to her, and rather than risk my advantage talking; I sat down on the bed and immediately offered my neck. Her bite was raw and vicious as she tore into me. I could feel hot streams pouring down my chest soaking into my shirt.
Swiftly, her body was ripped away from me, tearing a large chunk of my skin with her. My hand came up to my neck, feeling my power working extra hard to patch up the giant hole she left. Jace had her in his arms, holding her tightly so she couldn’t escape. Her eyes were solid black, and darkness spread across her eyes onto her skin. He had his wrist to her mouth, forcing her head back into his chest so he could control her movements better. She was still rough with her feeding but could not do nearly as much damage as she had been.
“Give her a few minutes; she went into a frenzy. She’s liable to rip half your head off if someone doesn’t stop her,” Jace explained. His eyes, entirely white, at least looked apologetic and not competitive. If he had just pulled her off because he wanted a turn, I would have been more pissed off. Considering the bite on my neck still hadn’t fully healed, I trusted him on this.
“Is that a vampire thing then?”
“She went too long without feeding, and her thirst got too high. She did an excellent job controlling it, but the first drop of blood sent her into a frenzy.” Jace explained. I watched his eyes roll back into his head with pleasure as Mor clamped down and pulled at a more even pace.
“Gah, fuck. Really?” Jax yelled.
I turned to look at him, wearing only the pair of grey sweatpants Jace had given him. Jax was looking down at his crotch. He had quite the erection in the making.
“Jax, you had her for three days; I think you can wait for a bit,” I snapped.
