“I hope you don’t think we are done yet, Babe,” he laughed lightly, and I whimpered out in agreement.
I felt a hard tug on my hair, pulling me backward, forcing me to take a step as Jax advanced. He pushed until my back hit a wall, and he released his grip on my hair only to sink to his knees before me, mirroring what I had just done to him.
I leaned against the wall, parting my legs to reveal my glistening lips to him.
He went to work immediately, his tongue hot against my sensitive skin. He was lapping up my arousal before sticking his tongue deep inside me to collect what had yet to escape. His lips vibrated against my skin as he hummed out noises of approval.
My hands clawed at the wall looking for anything to grab ahold of. My body was already building towards another orgasm as his tongue speared inside me. I placed my hands flat on the wall on either side of my head. Pushing against the wall forced my pelvis deeper into his face. Grinding my clit across him as his tongue fucked in and out of me. I came screaming this time, my hands pushing against the wall to hold me to his face as I pulsed around his tongue.
Before my limp body could fall into a heap on the floor, Jax grabbed my ass firmly in his hands as he slid up my body, impaling me on his hard cock in one smooth move. His chest pressed into me as I was trapped between him and the wall, my head swimming with the sensation of his thick cock finally seated inside me.
I looked into his eyes as I adjusted to his size and the feeling of finally being whole. My heart fluttered with excitement, having claimed all my mates at last. Jax closed his eyes as he leaned his head against mine. I felt his breath on my face as I listened to the thrumming bass of the music as it drifted up from the floorboards.
“I should have done this sooner,” he laughed, and I couldn’t help my laughter of agreement. My walls tightened around his cock as I did it, pulling a groan from him.
“Definitely should have done this sooner,” I breathed.
He opened his eyes to look at me; they were still pitch black and hooded with desire. His lips met mine slowly this time, dancing with me rather than battling for dominance as he started to move inside me. His thrusts matched the pace of the kiss, slow and leisurely, as I basked in the sensations. He set the pace, starting slow and gradually, maddeningly, increasing the tempo and creating a song of our own, despite the heavy bass that floated around the air surrounding us. A lament for all the lost moments we could have shared and an unspoken promise to never repeat past mistakes.
We came at the same time, our lips never parting. At that moment, we were one soul, one body, and one set of emotions jumbled up together in this small dusty hideout in the human realm.
Together, we crawled onto the mattress, cuddling up in a pile of mismatched limbs. Moments later, his breathing evened out as he fell into a deep sleep. Guess he didn’t mind my touch any longer. Peacefully, I allowed the day's exhaustion to wash over me as the calm embrace of sleep sheltered in my mate's arms lulled me to sleep.
CHAPTER24
JASPER
Three days.
It took three days to track the terminal where Fachnan sent in the report. We briefly visited Jax and Mor after returning to the hunting cabin to get a little rest and recharge. We had to leave and come back with underwear for Mor since apparently, Jax had ripped them apart.
He was in a hell of a lot better mood. Mor promised to alert us immediately if the barrier was tripped, but until then, they needed some time alone. We were all glad to give it. Even Jace. He seemed to be happy that Jax had finally given in to Mor. By the way Jax held her in his arms while we briefly visited, we all knew Jax needed this time too. Now that we had the tracking information back, Jax and Mor needed to get back to Hell.
A cold breeze swirled in the air, carrying the distinct smell of autumn with it. Heavy beats of bass punctured the air, the four walls of the bar barely containing them. Looking up to the windows above the bar, all dark and quiet.
“Justice?”
“They’re in there,” Justice sighed. I felt things were about to be far more complicated than we needed.
I led the way up the stairs, figuring I was the safest member to first go through the door. Jace was at the rear. That was for the best as well. Turning the knob, the door groaned as the hinges barked out their protest. It was dark and quiet, other than the steady beat of the music pounding up from the floorboards.
“Bedroom?” I whispered.
Justice nodded his head, and I rolled my eyes. I headed over to the door and gave it a few sharp taps. “You have to share her now. Either get some clothes on and give her back or expect us to take our clothes off and join in,” I said loud enough for them to hear.
“Hell no, you’re not all joining in. I need at least,”Jax’s voice lazily entered my mind before trailing off. “Give me a few more hours, and then I’ll let her go back to Hell to power up and catch up with the rest of the pack. I can wait a bit longer to see if the spell is triggered.”
I don’t think I have ever heard Jax’s tone so carefree and light. Guess if someone was going to ruin his mood, it might as well be me. “Fachnan is an elite. The reports were entered in a palace terminal. We have no idea if it’s one of the other princes, the sins, or who else. We need to get back to Hell, where it’s safer. We need to get Mor safe.”
Silence stretched out, both in my mind and in the room. The three of us stood in the middle of a dusty dark room, waiting for a response. The door opened, and Mor appeared first, wearing one of Jax’s black button-up shirts. She was practically swimming in it as it hung loosely off one shoulder. Her hair was still black and looked like a beautiful disaster, like she hadn’t gotten out of bed for the entire time she was there.
Jax emerged next, standing in the doorframe, leaning on it. He wore the biggest smirk I have ever seen and only a pair of boxers. If it wasn’t for all the shit I knew he went through, I would feel a lot more jealous than I did. Someday I will get her for a whole week straight.
“We just abandon this then?” Mor asked, her arms stretched out wide before she let them fall, smacking herself in the thighs.
“I’m afraid so, Fox. We don’t know enough about who this demon is and what they are doing. It’s probably just boredom. Some demon is looking to make a thousand pet squirrels or something. Maybe name one Scott. Scott might even like to sit on the demon’s shoulder and eat nuts. You need to watch out for Steven. Steven will steal all of Scott’s nuts right out of his cheeks. We don’t have enough information yet to ensure the squirrels are not cannibals.”
I looked over to Justice, wondering what mood he woke up in today. He’s been getting worse lately. He has a few different monsters running around in his mind. Sometimes they get too loud, and he loses control. He always finds his way back, generally with a new body count.
