Chapter 8

Mason

Stepping backand tucking my cock in my slacks, she looks up at me like a deer in headlights.

“I can’t believe we just did that. In your office! Where people could see us.” Her voice goes up and down as if she wants to scream and be quiet at the same time. It’s hot that she gets off on the idea of someone watching her have sex with me, but that’s as far as that’ll go. I don’t share. Ever.

She struggles to get her underwear back in place and pull her skirt down. She looks cute tucking herself back in to look presentable. I couldn’t give a fuck what the people out there think. They want their job? They’ll stay out of my business.

After adjusting my belt, I move close and wrap her in my arms, her head snapping up to me. Damn, she has the most beautiful hazel I’ve ever seen. One moment they’re more green, the next blue. Stunning. As I look into their depths, something twists inside of me, deep and raw. That same thing that I tried to push away for the past four days, that kept coming back no matter what I did.

“You got off on it. The idea of it. Don’t deny it, baby, because your pussy was sopping wet.”

A blush tints her cheeks in a shy way. I’ve had my mouth everywhere on this woman’s body, yet she’s shy at my words. That turns me on.

She begins to talk, and I just know she’s going to deny it so I speak instead. “Don’t even. I won’t believe it.”

Her eyes turn sharp, and she grips the collar of my jacket. It’s seriously hot that I just fucked her pretty much both of us still dressed. It’s not the first time, and it won’t be the last. I can guarantee that because having her close, I want to be inside of her. Clothes won’t stand in my way.

“What are we doing?” she concedes, the rigidness in her body going lax. “I have no idea what this is.”

“You’re coming to my place for dinner and then we’ll talk,” I state the first thing that comes to mind. Truth is I want her in my home, I want her in my bed, I want her in my life. That smile and banter all wrapped around me endlessly.

One night together is all it took. My father always told me that when I found someone, it would come out of left field and slam me in the gut. It would knock me off my axis and grip ahold of me in a way I’ve never felt before. Aiden Porter has done it, and I can’t go back now. I tried for four days, but the want and need is just as strong.

“This was supposed to be a night of fun, Mason.”

The way she dismisses our time together pisses me off. “Do you feel this?” I give her a soft squeeze and see her pupils dilate, giving me my answer. “Exactly, it’s not going away.” I shake my head because I too thought it would go away, but it just hasn’t, and I damn well don’t want it to.

“It’s too fast.” I watch her succulent lips form the words, and I’m ready for round two, preferably on her knees.

“Dinner,” I respond instead of an answer. If I tell her now that she’s mine, there’s a chance she won’t come tonight and that is not an option. I’ll hunt her ass down if I have to. I have absolutely no problem with that whatsoever. I already did it once. Luckily, Drake said Aiden’s full name at the restaurant and with a few quick searches, I found exactly who she is and where she works. Easier than it should be, and I’ll have to get my security and computer crew on that, eventually.

“Okay.”

I lean down and brush a soft kiss against her lips. That same spark from the first time we kissed burns even brighter.

“Do you want me to come and get you?”

She shakes her head.

“No leaving, Aiden. No sneaking out of my bed in the morning. And plan on spending the night.”

I kiss her before she can speak, and then she leaves with a small wobble in her step that makes me incredibly happy.

After the door shuts to the elevator, I go back into my office. I smile at the mess that is my desk, pick up my phone from the floor where it crashed, and snap a picture of the disaster. It takes me all afternoon to get everything in order, but it was so worth it.
