“Talk to you tomorrow, and get this countdown off my com.”
He snorted.“No.Pleasant dreams.”
She ended the call and smiled, walking to the rack and finding the deep red gown with the tag on the hangar. She opened the letter and read it, getting progressively pinker as she went down the list of promises of worship. When she finished reading it, she fanned herself with the letter and blinked at the scent of him.“Oh, he’s sneaky.”
Hever looked at her.“You look all hot and bothered.”
“Sethir poetry and endearments. He’s been using them since I accepted his proposal.”
Hever found the gown for her, and there was a note attached to it.“Krix made the gowns, and it seems Worro’s bachelor party was a Sethir creative writing course.”
Keera smiled.“Yeah, if he hadn’t gone into the teams, he wanted to be a professor at the uni.At that point, I told him we would never have met, and he kissed me and said that he was glad he was on the team then.”
Hever’s expression got soft.“Aw.That is so sweet.”
“Yeah. To other women, he was handsome and seductive, but to me, he was sweet and caring...and focused.”Keera chuckled.“I met his family.Cloud wasn’t back from the library yet.His parents liked me well enough, considering that they didn’t think I was an omega.”
“You aren’t.Are you?”
“Yeah. My shifting keeps the indicators from being as obvious, but I go into heats and can calm an alpha fairly easily.”She took the crimson gown and matching robe.“I should get changed. He put a countdown timer on my com.”
“Oh, that isn’t going to help you sleep.”
“No kidding.”
Keera changed, Hever changed, and the other ladies figured out what was for them, and they got changed.Khasta was taking photos, and snack platters were delivered, along with energy drinks and water.
Khytten hugged everyone, and the prefect was talking quietly with Hever.Keera sat on a couch and curled up, nodding off.She was safe with friends, and tomorrow, she and Worro would be legally linked.

There was breakfast laid out, and the ladies who remained looked and gasped.
Khasta went to the window.“Are the guys gone?”
