Whatever was in the blunt had her feeling like she was floating. An out-of-body experience because sleeping with a stranger went against everything she’d conditioned herself for and everything Zayden told her not to do. Since a girl, he’d drilled into her head to make these niggas work for it. Give them a chase. Make him respect you. She yielded to the strong advice from her brother for years. She made them work for it, made them chase her, and at the end of it all, she was holding a bleeding heart. What could a one-night stand with conditions hurt? Nothing. When she was done, it was over, and she’d go on to figure the rest of her life out. It was simple.

Or at least that’s what she told herself.

There was nothing simple about the way Noble was taking in her body, examining it as if he were taking mental snapshots. Never to have this moment again. That was a fact. He wouldn’t have it again. Tonight was all he had; all she was willing to give.

Noble trailed two fingers down the center of her chest and asked. “How do you want it?”

“What can you give?” Savanhi asked. Brixx taught her that men talked a good game but could never back it up.

Noble smirked and sat back on the plush leather seat of the boat they’d entered moments ago. “I’m not the type to brag. You’re more than welcome to find out.”

Savanhi took a seat of her own, crossed her legs, and nodded toward his lap. “Nah, show me.”

Noble chuckled. “Thirty years old and playing show and tell.”

Savanhi shrugged. “You made a proposition.”

Noble smirked, licked his lips, and stood up. Regardless of what his heart and pride felt like, he’d been at attention the moment he inhaled the shea butter and cherry that wrapped around her when the wind blew. First, he removed his shirt, exposing his tattooed, washboard torso. There was a story there that she didn’t and wouldn’t have time to listen to him tell. Hereyes trailed the street sign tattoo and face of a woman and an infant child, the palm trees of Los Oceania, and a few other eye-catching pieces. While she studied his torso, he removed his shorts and boxers.

Savanhi’s eyes widened just enough to be impressed by the size, girth, how it glistened, and the veins corded around it.

“You like that?”

“I’m impressed. You moisturize.”

Noble laughed, growing in size.

“Shit,” Savanhi groaned.

“Yeah,” Noble said confidently. “I won’t disappoint.”

Savanhi hummed, standing to her feet and undoing the skirt-like scarf around her waist. The more he took in the parts she exposed to him, the harder he grew. She knew she’d mastered the art of seduction. She knew she knew how to make a man fall to his knees. All patrons kept their clothes on and their hands to themselves. But Noble, fully naked had her itching to trace his body.

As she removed the swim top, her perky breasts bounced out. Next, the thong-back bottom she’d given Lawryn a hard time about. As they dropped to the floor, Noble blew.

“You’re beautiful.”

“Yeah, I am,” Savanhi confidently replied. “You are too. You can touch me.”

Noble closed the space between them, the moment his hand sunk into her supple skin, the intoxication increased. He kissed her neck and shoulder before lifting her off her feet and placing her atop the countertop. He took each breast into his mouth enjoying how softly she moaned. Back to her neck he muttered against her skin, “tell me how you want it.”

“Just fuck me. It’s your birthday, release what you need to.”

The comment made him groan and realize this would end before it got started. “I don’t have a condom.”

Savanhi pushed her hair out of her face and huffed. “Shit.”

“I’m clean.”

“Good for you,” she teased. “I am too but…I said no invested interest. Nothing left behind.”

“I’ll pull out.”

“I’m not concerned about that I have an implant. I won’t get pregnant. I’m talking about that seed that’s planted if you swim in this. I don’t need you stalking me.”

“No vested interest. I’ll leave you alone.”
