So many of them my breath was caught in my throat.

So beautiful.

So Mal, I couldn’t look away from him even if I wanted to.

I decided later that I’d look over each and every one of the art pieces on his body, but right now, I needed a moment of clarity. Especially as Mal began to strip off the pair of sweats he had on, all the while watching my every move with intensity.

My skin erupted in a cluster of goosebumps.

In only his boxers, I mentally prepared myself for the next big reveal. Though I’d already seen it, I had a feeling I’d have the same reaction as I did earlier.

Awestruck.

Desperation.

And finally, following the unhurried removal of his boxers, his very hard, very large cock was now pointed in my direction as if it already knew where it wanted to be.

Inside me.

His huge hand then engulfed his shaft. Rolling his palm up and down his length in leisurely movements, his gaze remained heavily focused on mine.

Watching.

Waiting.

My breaths had turned into short gasps as he stroked himself right in front of me. Even my legs had responded by subconsciously widening, beckoning for him to come closer.

He must have caught on because in a matter of only a few seconds, his jaw went tight and he released the hold he had on his dick.

“Scoot up the bed, baby.” His voice was thick with desire, and without a second thought I followed his order.

Digging my palms into his comforter, I pushed myself back while he began to crawl his way toward me.

Predatory-like.

Slow, measured movements that made my heart thrash.

And once I was up close to the headboard, he began his short journey up my body until he was finally hovering above me.

Hands braced on each side of my face, eyes that never once strayed from mine, I could barely contain the desperation that filtered throughout my body. Every part of me ached in the best possible way, so threading my arms around his neck, I pulled his mouth down onto mine.

“I need you, Mal,” I mumbled across his lips, causing his eyes to slam shut.

“Tell me again.”

I smiled.

“I need you, Mal. So much.”

“Not just now.”

It wasn’t a question, it was a statement.

“Not just now,” I confirmed. “Always.”

His shoulders sagged as if hearing that I needed him was the reassurance he required. Like any other answer wouldn’t be good enough for him.

“Always.” His forehead met mine and for a moment we just laid there, taking in this exchange of emotions. Our breaths intermingled as well as the increasing tempo of our hearts. And for a long, painful second, the secrets I had been holding back from him had almost come out. The need to unload everything to have a fresh new beginning overwhelmed me, but I didn’t want to ruin this.
