I raised my brow as he stood in front of me like he was done. “Panties?”

He smirked, curling his hand around my neck and pulling my lips close to his. “Well, now that I know you like being tied up,” he whispered, the thought sending an excited shudder through me. “I plan on keeping them on hand for the future.” He patted his club cut over his heart, where I knew there was a small pocket inside.

I pressed up on my toes, closing the distance between our mouths. “And just how often do you plan on tying me up?”

“Any fucking chance I get.” He pressed a soft kiss to my lips and pulled back with a grin. “You just say the word.”

My heart was already kicking up into the next gear, and as if I hadn’t already come enough tonight, the thought of Nate pulling my panties out at any time or place was once again building the warmth deep in my stomach.

I wasn’t lying when I said I didn’t realize what I was missing. I just wasn’t sure if that was because I’d had boring boyfriends who didn’t want to do anything but get their own rocks off, or because this was Nate. I loved him and trusted him to look after me and my body.

Chewing my lip, I fought to disguise the heat spreading through meagain.

“You want me to drive Lucy’s car home while I’m literally dripping?” I said, shaking my head with a smile. “I’m—”

“You’ve been drinking, so you’re not driving,” he countered, interlocking his fingers with mine as he led me toward the front foyer. “You’re gonna put that perfect, wet pussy on my leather seat, and we’re gonna see how long it takes you to come again as we ride home.”

The leather.

The vibration.

Holding on to him.

I was fucked.

Chapter Thirty-One

BLUE

“You’re dreaming if you think Rafe is taking Tank down,” Drew said, leaning against the workbench. “That dude’s built like a damn freight train.”

“And Rafe is faster than Tank will ever be,” I shot back, polishing my fuel tank until the club logo was gleaming in the morning sunlight. “Speed beats size every time if you know how to use it.”

Rafe had a big fight in a few months with a guy from a friendly club in Fort Wayne. His name was Tank, and he was well out of Rafe’s weight class, but the kid had something he wanted to prove, and I knew I was never going to be able to talk him out of it. So, all I could do was train him to be as prepared as possible.

“You putting money on him?” Drew taunted, rubbing his hands together.

“You putting moneyagainsthim?” I got to my feet, and he instantly threw his hands up, still grinning. “That’s what I fucking thought.”

Maybe I was too sharp, but I was tired as hell.

“Hey, Blue?” I glanced over my shoulder as Missy walked through to the garage from the clubhouse, Hawk trailing behind her as per usual. “Is Darcy around?”

I shook my head and lazily tossed the rag in my hand, nailing Drew square in the face. “Nah,” I answered, sitting back against my ride and stifling a yawn. “Her and Lucy decided to go dance equipment shopping this morning. Something about a one-day-only sale. She’ll be at Bishop’s for lunch later, though.”

I could have done without Lucy’s chirpy wakeup call at eight this morning, but Darcy had leaped out of bed like it wasChristmas morning. Full of energy and rattling off all the things she wanted to check out, as if we hadn’t just crawled into bed a little before four.

I couldn’t even complain.

Not when it meant seeing that bright smile on her face again.

After what happened with Carrington and the house on Friday night, there’d been more than enough tears. And each one was added to my list of reasons to put the bastard down.

“Cool,” Missy said, smiling and clapping her hands. “I was talking her up to some parents at Kadey’s baseball game yesterday, and a bunch of them want to bring their kids in to try Darcy’s classes.”

“She’ll…” I started, but the distant crunch of tires on gravel shut us all up. Clubhouse traffic wasn’t unusual, even on a Sunday morning. But that wasn’t the sound of a vehicle I recognized, and it sure as hell wasn’t a motorcycle.

Then, after the first vehicle pulled up with its brakes squeaking, there was a second.
