“Considering we’re all in love with the same woman, I think that ship has sailed now, don’t you?”

“Hmmm…” Luca hums as he taps his chin. “I don’t believe I’ve ever said that.” His mischievous grin may say he’s poking fun, but we all know he’s absolutely full of shit.

He loves her.

He knows it. We know it. She knows it.

Josephine stands from the tub, and all four of us look directly at her. We stand there frozen as we watch the bubbles fall over her tan skin and into the water at her feet. It feels like she moves in slow motion as she steps out of the tub and wraps the towel around her wet body.

She makes her way across the bathroom until she’s standing directly in front of Luca. Standing on her tiptoes, she leans forward so her lips are brushing against his. “That’s okay,” she says softly, “I can beverypersuasive.” She lingers against his lips for a moment before dropping to her heels and moving over to me. “Good morning, Honey.”

It takes everything in me to hold in my laugh as she gives me a quick kiss. And when she steps in between us and walks across the room, I finally bust out laughing when my eyes land on a stunned Luca.

“That was fucking—”

Luca holds out his hand. “Don’t.”

Sebastian makes his way to him and kisses his parted lips. “You did that to yourself, Baby.”

“I was just trying to be funny,” Luca pouts.

“Leave the funny to this one,” Sebastian tells him as he gives me a soft kiss.

I puff out my chest with pride. “You think I’m funny, Tesoro?”

Sebastian rolls his eyes. “You don’t need me to stroke your ego.”

“Yeah, you’re right.” I snap my head back to Luca. “Leave the funny to me, Amico.”

Luca pins me with another sexy glare. It does nothing but turn me on. Sebastian laughs and grabs his hand. “Come on. Let’s go find something for breakfast.”

Sebastian pulls him from the room and suddenly it’s just me and Dante.

“So…” I say, walking into the bathroom and leaning against the glass of the shower. Dante looks at me through our reflection in the mirror before turning around and leaning against the vanity, mirroring my posture. I don’t even try to hide the fact that my eyes rake over his large, muscular, and almost naked body. “Anything of note happen last night?”

Dante raises a brow and crosses his arms over his chest. “Why do you say that?”

“What happened to the chair?!” Luca shouts from downstairs.

I point my thumb in the direction of the bedroom door. “Well… that, and the fact that the three of you were in here getting ready.”

“And?”

I give him my best “don’t play dumb” look, but he doesn’t budge. “Sebastian wouldn’t be getting ready in here unless he spent the night in here.”

“True.”

“So…” I pause, but he doesn’t continue. “Did he spend the night in here?”

“He did,” he answers matter-of-factly.

Oh for christ’s sake.

“And?”

“And we slept.”

“Oh.” Well, that’s lame.
