I fall back again, groaning, this time covering my pinkening cheeks with my hands.

I hear him laughing at my reaction. “Baby girl.” He leans over so that he can drop the hands from my face and kiss me. “In what world would I not want to do that?” He says, starting a lazy trail of kisses behind my ear and down my neck.

“Do you?” I ask hesitantly.

“Ireallydo.” He kisses my jaw. “But do you?”

“Yes, please,” I whisper.

He lifts his head and grins at me. “So polite.”

He kisses me again, so deeply I think he’ll never be able to pull away until he’s already between my thighs, tongue running the same course his finger did seconds ago. He lifts one of my legs over his shoulder as he continues lapping at me, his tongue slowly moving further up until he sucks down hard on my clit.

I thrust against him and moan out, feeling my toes going numb.

He slowly moves his fingers along my entrance, sliding one in, and the other a few thrusts after.

He groans against me every time I moan, and it makes me feel so in sync with him.

I don’t know how long he has me clawing at the sheets, my legs shaking, curses coming out of my mouth, but once my body feels an inch of tiredness, the guilt starts to overtake me. Because if I’m tired, he must be exhausted.

For a moment, I thought maybe things would be different with Lou, maybe he’d crack the code somehow, but I know, I’ve known for a long time that things don’t work like that for me.

I can’t let him keep going.

“Wait.” I cry out, pulling him up to me by his hair, so he’s basically half lying on top of me.

“What is it?” He wipes at his chin. “You okay?”

“I just-” I start. “It’s just that I can’t-” I cut myself off again.

“Can’t what, baby girl?”

I hate that that nickname always sends so many butterflies soaring inside of me.

I let out a long exhale. “What you’re doing feels amazing. Like, I could just come thinking about what you were doing.”

He lets out a confused chuckle. “Okay…”

“But, in reality, I actually can’t…” I inhale. “Come like that,” I admit. “I need… artificial vibrations.”

“Artificial vibrations.” He repeats, amused.

“Ugh.” I whip my hands to cover my face. “This is so embarrassing.”

“No, come on.” He chuckles again. “Explain it to me.” He tries to gently pull my hands off my face, but I don’t let him.

“If it’s okay, I’d rather tell you from behind here,” I say muffled.

“Okay.” He laughs.

“Okay,” I repeat. “It feels good. Incredible good.” I explain, still muffled. “And I got so close so many times, but I can’t get over the ledge without-”

“The artificial vibrations.” He finishes the sentence for me.

“Exactly.” I lower my hands slightly and continue looking at him through my fingers like in a horror film. “And it’s not one of those‘I don’t know my own body well enough’or‘no one’s tried hard enough’things because believe me, I’ve tried, so many others have too.”

“So many others, huh?” He smirks.
