Minus Skye, of course. She was a woman. A gorgeous, fully developed woman. With luscious curves and a silver tongue I dreamed about tasting.

“Brandt already got to play with her.” I said, immediately regretting the memory as my cock twitched with interest.

I’d never been one for power exchanges, but watching Skye put the much larger Aiden on his knees in Wyatt’s garden was one of the sexual highlights of my life, and I hadn’t even participated.

“What?” Wyatt whispered, his expression pained.

I shrugged. “She took him out to that clearing where you smell roses or whatever.”

“Mygarden?!” Wyatt cried. He narrowed his eyes at his desk. “That little shit!”

I snorted. Wyatt took his rose-smelling very seriously. “See? I told you. He’s a kid. Should I fuck with him?”

“Rafe, he’d burn you to a crisp, even in his sleep. Don’t fuck with him.”

“You just told me he doesn’t trust himself to do anything besides wield fire.” I grumbled.

“Have you forgotten how utterly useless your shadows are against fire?” Wyatt asked carefully.

My blood ran cold for just a second before I scowled at his apologetic expression. He knew better than to talk about that shit.

“I’m sorry.” Wyatt nearly whispered.

I shrugged, changing the subject quickly. “Maybe I’ll go introduce myself finally. After you apologize to her, of course.”

Wyatt snorted. “She’d cut my dick off and then punch yours.”

“You say that like I wouldn’t enjoy it.”

Wyatt snorted again before chuckling. He swiped a hand over his face and sighed.

“I really do have to make up with her somehow,” he said.

“No shit. At least makeup sex is supposed to be the best,” I replied.

“What? You’ve never had makeup sex?” Wyatt asked, his eyebrows arched in disbelief.

“Nope,” I replied, popping theP. “Never cared enough to apologize.”

“Of course,” Wyatt muttered before rolling his eyes.

“What about you?” I asked, not even bothering to hide my shit-eating grin.

Wyatt grimaced before scowling at me. “Shut up.”

“What?” I feigned innocence. “You broke up with Carissa like twelve times, you can’t tell me younevermade up with her. Not even while you were visiting her over term break? Or did a newly awakened ‘water affinate’ steal all your attention?”

Wyatt’s scowl turned pained before he scrubbed a hand down his face.

I took pity on him and changed the subject. “Anyway, don’t think I’m not still pissed about that whole thing that happened here in theoffice. The only reason Brandt’s ahead of us is because you rejected her.”

“How could you possibly know that? Did she tell my sister that?” Wyatt looked suspicious.

“I know women,” I replied.

Wyatt scoffed. “Never had makeup sex, but you know women.”

I sighed dramatically, almost grinning when Wyatt cringed. He hated when I acted this way. “Just because I don’t apologize doesn’t mean I don’t know when Ishould haveapologized. And seriously…she ran out of this office, had a good cry with the girls, went right into Brandt’s arms and then put him on his knees.”
