Because apparently my brain really wants to know what your fingers could do outside of typing.

SAHAR
Can’t sleep. I could ask you the same question.
JAY
Neither can I. Though I just finished ep 7. Ellie stayed up a bit longer than usual, so I got a later start on writing.
SAHAR
Aw, was everything okay? Or she just didn’t want to sleep.
JAY
She wanted to watch Barbie. Again. And then once more asked me about what it takes to be a filmmaker, so I came very close to another heart attack.
She chortled, turning over to her left side.
SAHAR
Way to make her think her dad’s being very dramatic with his thoughts.
JAY
I have to embarrass her somehow, don’t I?
SAHAR
Is that in the handbook?
JAY
No clue. They forgot to give me one at the hospital.
SAHAR
Well then, if you’re winging it, I think you’re doing pretty well. If you’re that concerned about ensuring her future is without its struggles, you’re doing something right.
JAY
I sure hope so.
SAHAR
I know so.
JAY
Do you have a good relationship with your dad?
