WAIT ARE YOU SERIOUS?

 I LOVE WHITEOUT

 Sorry hit caps by accident

But seriously, I love them. I actually tried to get tickets for their Las Vegas show, except they sold out too quickly

What kind of seats do you have? And when does it start?

Hope bloomed in my chest as I grinned.

 Gavin

Lower bowl. Wasn’t fast enough to get the pit.

It starts at seven, but Whiteout doesn’t come on until eight-thirty. Does that work for you?

 Sienna

 Of course!

Send me the address and I’ll be there around six-thirty

 Gavin

Or I can come pick you up at six and drive you there. That way you don’t have to deal with the parking madness.

I was going to erase the message when I accidentally hit send.

 Shoot.

 Sienna

That works for me! I like being in the car with you

You know, when Adam isn’t injured and we aren’t soaking wet

 I snorted.

 Gavin

 Then it’s a date!

 Friend date*

I looked up at Phoenix, who was playing UNO with Forrest. I gave him a thumbs-up, and he gave me one back.

Forrest turned around and looked at me. “What’s going on?”

“Oh, my payment from my online class just came in,” I said, wanting to pat myself on the back for how smooth the lie came out.

“Cool.” He gave me a small smile before facing Phoenix again. “Gosh, how are you winning this?”

Phoenix grinned, but his gaze went to me. “I told you to never doubt me.”

I pulled up outside of Sienna’s house, singing along to my Whiteout playlist. There was a shadow in the front window that disappeared a second later. I put the car in park and sent Phoenix a text.
