Giving in to my desire, I positioned my cock at her entrance and slipped inside. Immediately her warmth wrapped around me, sending me reeling. If I wanted this to last, I needed to turn up my control. Moving my hips at a slow pace, Reyna rotated her hips against me twice as fast. As hard as it was to control my need to let go, she had to learn that I was the one in control. “Stop moving, princess, or I won’t let you come.”

“I love you, Davian. But you can be a real ass,” she cried as she stopped her movements.

She had no idea what an ass I was. I could walk away, but I loved her. “That is Mr. Ass to you.”

Increasing my speed, I moved inside her at an even rhythm while she remained still. I knew it was killing her not to move with me. So, when I was close, I whispered, “Let’s come together, shall we?”

When Davian left the comfort of the bed to shower, I couldn’t move. I was so relaxed that all I wanted to do was close my eyes and rest. The day turned out to be more than I thought I could handle. Making love with Davian turned out to be the best medicine ever. If it hadn’t been for Davian needing to review the security tapes, I would have opted for more. But, finding out who help Delilah leave The Regency was more important. I wanted to know too. If the footage showed that Delilah got help, Davian would let me know. He said so himself. Davian’s excuse was that he wanted to review it first in case there was something there that would upset me. The truth was, I was done with everything. I was so tired of being mad and hurt. With everything I had learned, nothing would surprise me.

The people that meant the most to me were still in my life. That was what I needed to focus on. Kenzi, Davian, the other girls, andThe Societymen were my family now. Having a new perspective, I pushed from the bed and walked to the shower. If I hurried, maybe I could still go through some of the footage with Davian. Somehow, I had to convince him that whatever was on the tapes, I would deal with it.

Doing the bare minimum, I hurried and dried off and put my wet hair up in a messy bun. With the clothes that Davian had purchased for me still in the closet, I had no problem finding something to wear. Opting to wear a tank top and a cute skater shirt, I slipped on a pair of sandals and headed out of the penthouse. I wasn’t sure where Davian would be, but his office would be a good start.

As I rode the elevator down to the mezzanine where Davian’s office was, the elevator stopped on the tenth floor. When the doors opened, Samantha stood on the other side. I remembered her from the first time Davian had brought me to The Regency. I thought she was very flirty and unprofessional. That impression still hasn’t changed.

When her eyes met mine, she seemed surprised to see me. Taking the initiative, I smiled and said, “You’re Samantha, Davian’s GM. I remember meeting you a while ago. I’m Reyna, Davian’s fiancée.”

“I know who you are,” she said sarcastically, her glare toward me like daggers. “So, when is the unlucky day?”

“We haven’t decided yet.” I pulled my shoulders back and stood tall. There was no way I was going to let this woman intimidate me.

“Well, usually, when a wedding date hasn’t been chosen, it means it will never take place.”

As she got on the elevator, she held out her finger to push one of the panel's floor buttons. It turned out she was going where I was. I was steaming with anger. Who did she think she was? Trying my best to be polite, I asked her nicely, “Do you by chance know where Davian might be? I was just going to check his office.”

Rolling her eyes like it was an inconvenience, she freed the walkie-talkie clipped to her pants beneath her suit jacket. and held it to her mouth. “Mr. Cross, can you give me your location?”

Seconds later, Davian’s voice came over the speaker. “I’m in the security room. Is there a problem?”

“No, sir. Yourfiancéeis looking for you,” Samantha’s sarcastic tone was evident as she spit ‘fiancée’ like it left a bad taste in her mouth.

“Can you please show her the way to the security room?”

“Will do, Mr. Cross.”

Before placing the walkie-talkie back in the holster, Samantha swiped her access card and pressed the button with a big ‘B’ on it. She was not at all pleased that she had to take me to Davian. It was evident by the way she took in a breath and hit the button. For that reason alone, I wished I had an access card of my own. I needed to ask Davian about getting me one. The last thing I wanted was for Samantha to take me to restricted floors.

When the elevator door opened, just like the first time I met Samantha, her hips swayed back and forth as she walked. I honestly thought maybe she thought walking that way was attractive or something. She was attractive, that was for sure. Her sleek black hair moved in waves down her back. I wondered how she managed to get it to shine like that. She was model material, not like on a runway, but more like Victoria's Secret.

Focusing on her heels clacking against the floor, I almost ran into her when she came to an abrupt stop. “Mr. Cross is in there.”

Before I could thank her for bringing me to him, she was on her way back to the elevator. There was definitely a touch of jealousy on her part. Davian didn’t show an ounce of interest in her, except on a professional level. Maybe that was why she had such animosity toward me. She couldn’t have what I had.

I wasn’t sure if I should knock or just go in. The polite thing would be to knock, so I did. When Davian opened the door, I knew I guessed wrong about him being happy to see me. He wasn’t at all happy.

Davian stepped to the side of the door so that I could enter. When he closed the door and we were alone, I turned to face him to see if I could gauge his demeanor. “I thought you were going to wait at the penthouse, princess.”

His tone didn’t indicate either way if he was upset or not. “I was, but I thought it would be better for us to look at the footage together. Did you find anything?”

Taking my hand, Davian led me over to where several monitors sat on a long table. They all showed different views of the hotel. Most of them were of the casino area. It made sense since there is a lot of funny business that goes on there. As I took a seat next to Davian, I focused on the monitor in front of him.

“I want you to see this. I think it is Delilah getting into a black sedan.” Davian rewound tape until he came upon what he wanted me to see.”

As I concentrated on the car, I could tell that it was a woman getting inside. She was wearing a long coat, which was odd for this time of year, and a floppy hat. Her hair was brown, whereas Delilah’s was blonde. I couldn’t tell either way if it was Delilah or not. When the car began to drive away, I could see her face in the side mirror. “Stop the tape and back up. There is a glimpse of her face in the side mirror.”
