He edged inside me further, moving slowly where he left off. I knew he wouldn’t give me what I needed unless I gave him everything. “Say it, princess, and I will give you everything you desire.”
“Yes, Davian. I give myself completely and fully to you. Heart, body, and soul.” I was barely able to choke back my tears when he pushed deep inside me, knocking the breath clean out from my body. Just as he promised, he gave me what I wanted. His movements increased before he withdrew and rammed full force inside me over and over again, relentlessly, viciously, like a well-oiled machine. The sensation was all-consuming, unlike anything I had felt before. I was on the verge of exploding, and I knew my body wouldn’t be able to take much more.
“Please, Davian,” I pleaded with him to let me come.
He picked up the pace. The strength of his thrusts remained hard while he continued to move at a furious speed. Trying desperately to hold on, I focused on my breathing, anything to help keep me from being torn apart.
“Now, princess. Come.”

Davian
How could I stay angry at Reyna for taking Patton’s phone? If anything, she should have been angry at me for leaving her alone in the suite for nearly three hours. I had to clear my head. Before Reyna, I always had an out. Gwen always understood my lifestyle. She never questioned my sexual preference and always obeyed my every wish. But with Reyna, things were different. She was feisty as hell, and yet her innocence had to be treated with kid gloves. If I did half the things I wanted to do to her, it would surely break her. I would lose her for good. Still, I wasn’t sure how long I could keep my desires and needs hidden. I needed to know if Reyna was capable of submitting completely to me. It was the only way I would know how much she was willing to sacrifice for me. Forcing her to admit that I owned her heart, body, and soul wasn’t my style, but if I hadn’t pushed her, she wouldn’t have submitted to my demands. It was a test. I would never own her soul or want to, but I had to know just how much she was willing to give up to satisfy her desires.
After last night, I thought it best to let her sleep in. There was nowhere in particular I had to be, so I vowed to spend the day with her today. Last night, I decided to break ties with Gwen. As much as I still cared about what happened to her, I didn’t love her. I loved Reyna. When I left Gwen, I told her exactly where we stood. She tried to pick up where we left off the other night, but I wasn’t interested. I made sure she understood that what happened between us was a mistake and it would never happen again since there was someone else in my life. Her unrelenting determination almost pushed me to tell her about Reyna. I couldn’t allow Gwen anywhere near her, so, instead, I told Gwen that she no longer gave me what I needed. Gwen was submissive by nature, and soon Reyna would be too.
Pouring myself another cup of coffee from the carafé I had delivered earlier, I moved to the balcony to enjoy the rest of the chilly morning before it became scorching hot. Taking a seat on the lounge chair, I stretched out my legs, one on top of the other, and continued drinking my coffee.
“Hey. How long have you been up?” My moment of solitude was interrupted when I heard Reyna’s soft voice behind me.
Uncrossing my legs, I turned my head and signaled for her to sit on the lounge chair between them. I held out my coffee cup to her as she pressed her back into my chest. Having her near me like this couldn’t have been more perfect. I kissed the top of her head, wondering if I should mention last night. I gave her a taste of my world and wondered if it was something she wanted to explore further. “About last night. How did it make you feel?”
“Wonderful. Vulnerable. Intense. But mostly thoroughly fucked.” Reyna let out a sweet laugh before she adjusted her body enough to kiss me. “Thank you.”
Leaning back against my chest, she continued to enjoy my coffee. As we reaped in the warmth of the sun, I found myself inundated with her scent. Strawberries, vanilla, and everything in between. All of which was the scent of the woman I loved.
“You know…” she began, adjusting her position between my legs. “I can’t keep wearing this robe forever. Eventually, I’m going to need more clothes.”
Perfect timing. A knock came at the door, and the only person it could be was Patton delivering some of Reyna’s things from the warehouse. “Speaking of…” I trailed off as I proceeded to move from my comfortable position. “That should be Patton, with your things.”
Leaving Reyna in the lounger, I walked back inside to answer the door. Sure enough, when I pulled the door open, Patton stood on the other side holding two designer tote bags, one in each hand.
“I really appreciate you doing this for me,” I said as I took the bags from him and placed them on the floor near the door.
“Not a problem. Let me know if you need anything else. I’m only a call away.” Patton tipped his head and began to leave.
Before he got too far, I stepped out into the hall, holding on to the door know to make sure the door didn’t close all the way. “Patton, is there any more information on Crosby McCall?”
Tuning to face me, he stuffed his hands in his pockets and met my gaze. “Not yet, but we are still working on it.”
It wasn’t reassuring, but if Crosby was hiding something, Patton would find it. Heading back inside the suite, I picked up Reyna’s bags and took them to the bedroom before heading back out to the balcony. I was about to join Reyna when another knock came at the door. Scratching my head, I wondered what Patton forgot.
When I pulled open the door and saw who was on the other side, anger flooded my body. “What the hell are you doing here?” I seethed, willing myself to remain calm.
Reyna headed toward me with curiosity splashed across her face. “Davian, who is it?”
I had two choices. Either I could just close the door in Crosby’s face and have Reyna angry with me, or I could allow her to see who was standing on the other side of the door. Choosing the lesser of two evils, I stepped to the side of the door and allowed Crosby to enter.
“Reyna, baby,” Crosby said as he stepped past me. Within two steps, he enveloped a surprised Reyna in his arms.
If I could’ve stopped him, I would have knocked him on his ass before he got close to her. There were so many things about Crosby McCall that she didn’t know, and the way she accepted his affection, I wished I had never allowed him to enter the suite.
Dumbfounded by their reunion, I stepped up to Reyna and pulled her into my arms. “Why don’t you get dressed? I've set your things on the bed.”
Kissing her on the head, she turned on her heels and moved toward the bedroom. I only needed five minutes to throw Crosby out, which was plenty of time before Reyna joined us. “Do you mind telling me what the fuck you are doing here?” I laid into him as soon as the door to the bedroom closed.
“Is that any way to talk to your future father-in-law? When is the lucky day?”
