A knock on the door pulled me from my thoughts. The unlocked door soon opened, and I knew it could only be one person. It was her, standing in the doorway wearing nothing but the sheet from the bed. I watched Reyna drop it to the floor and walk to the shower. I couldn’t take my eyes off her as she stepped inside the shower. Her eyes were on mine. Stretching to the tip of her toes, she placed her hands on my shoulders and pressed her lips to mine.
When the kiss broke, my only concern was her. “How are you feeling this morning?”
A playful grin spread across her face. “I’ve never felt better. Maybe tonight, you can show me this unique taste of yours you’ve been talking about.”
Reyna had no idea what she was asking, but instead of responding, I lifted her from the tile floor and pressed her body against the cold wall. The warmth of the spray ran between us, cooling my heated body. I had never met a more beautiful woman. “God, you're beautiful.”
Pressing my lips to hers, I lowered my hands to the globes of her ass and lifted her higher against the tile wall. The minute she walked into the bathroom, my cock had a mind of its own. It knew exactly what it wanted, and right now, it was her. Sliding my cock between her legs, it found its home as I pushed gently at her entrance. A small moan filled the small space, and my eyes darted to hers. “Nice and slow, princess. Nice and slow.”
Reyna nodded her head in acknowledgment, her eyes never leaving mine. My slow movements were torturous as I tested my willpower not to sink deep inside her. The sound of our bodies slapping together only made my need to take her fully that more unbearable. “I don’t know how much longer I can hold off.”
“Fill me, Davian. I want to feel you.”
Grinding my hips forward, I pushed deeper against her body with no mercy in sight. Thrust for thrust, her walls held me prisoner as she pulled me deeper inside. My bathroom wasn’t soundproof, and when her scream of ecstasy filled the air, I knew Mika would be able to hear my name through the floor below.
It was nearly ten o’clock by the time we stepped from the shower. Reyna headed back to her room to dress while I slipped on a pair of jeans and a t-shirt. There was no need to keep her things in the guest bedroom. As of tonight, she would share my bed. Nothing would suit me better than to have the warmth of her sexy ass pressed against my body.
I decided to check on Reyna before heading downstairs. Her door was slightly open, and I could hear her voice coming from inside the bathroom. She was humming a tune that I had never heard before. Her voice was sweet as she sang the words. I couldn’t help but stare at her once I reached the doorway to the bathroom. She was in the middle of doing her make-up, applying just enough without going overboard. As far as I could see, she didn’t need any. She was a natural beauty—her skin was flawless. The way she was shifting her hips from side to side, if I continued to watch, I would soon require relief. She was that sexy.
When I stepped up behind her, she was about to apply lipstick to her full lips, but before she had a chance, I spun her around and planted a kiss on them, which, based on her short gasp, took her breath away. Her body melted into mine as I pulled her closer to deepen the kiss; the scent of cherry blossom and vanilla filled my senses. “God, you smell good.”
“I have you to thank for that. But I think Mika might have gone a little overboard with buying the things she thought I might need.”
I wasn’t going to argue with her. Mika knew more about what women liked than I did. I take that back. When it came to satisfying Reyna’s need to come, I was an expert.

Reyna
The smell of bacon filled my senses as we stepped into the dining room. After taking a shower with Davian, I could eat a horse. Mika once again made the setting on the table look like something out of a home and decorating magazine. It was almost a sin to dirty the china displayed on the white linen tablecloth. It was that pretty. Davian pulled out the same chair I had sat in last night before taking his place at the head of the table. The way he looked in his jeans and t-shirt made my mouth water. After the magnificent meal that Mika prepared, I was more than willing to work it off.
Pouring us each a cup of coffee, Mika smiled as she set the carafé of coffee on the table. “I hope you like quiche. Sometimes eating bacon and eggs every morning gets to be boring. I like to liven things up a bit.”
“Quiche sounds amazing,” I responded as I placed my napkin on my lap and began adding cream and sugar to my coffee.
Mika returned with a pan of quiche made with spinach, tomatoes, peppers, and onions and, of course, eggs and bacon. It not only smelled delicious; just like the table setting, the presentation could have come from a cooking magazine.
True to the aroma, when the quiche hit my taste buds, it greeted me with a flavor out of this world. I wasn’t much of a cook, but this was one dish that I wanted to learn how to make. I could see Davian was also enjoying the meal when his eyes closed and opened with a nod of his head.
Reaching for his coffee, he took a sip before wiping his mouth with his napkin. Leaning back in his chair, he tipped his head to the right and said, “Mika, you have once again outdone yourself. This quiche is amazing.”
Mika was in the kitchen, and even though I couldn’t see her, her voice sounded behind us. “Thank you, Davi. You know how much I love to cook.”
Swiping the napkin across my lips, I looked to Davian. “Has Mika ever thought about opening a restaurant? She is such an amazing cook, and she has an eye for stage presence. Even the table setting is very impressive.”
“It’s funny that you should mention that, because I was thinking the same thing. I told Mika I would help her get started if she ever decided it was something she wanted to pursue. For now, I think she is happy with what she has. I hate to admit it, but she loves taking care of me and this house.”
I could see how Mika would love taking care of Davian and this house. She loved him; it was clear. Mika was the only mother he really knew.
By the time breakfast ended, my stomach was beyond content. As we moved away from the table, Davian’s phone began to ring. “Patton, what do you have for me?”
I couldn’t hear the other side of the conversation but heard enough to know that they were talking about the letter. Holding the phone to his ear, Davian reached for my hand and began leading me through the living area to a room at the right of the fireplace. When he pushed the door, it opened up to a large room with bookcases on two sides and a large mahogany desk positioned near the window. I had never seen so many books, other than the library at GSU.
Davian released my hand and walked over to the large desk. It didn’t take him long to boot up his computer. His cell phone rested between his ear and shoulder as he typed in the password to his computer. Within moments the computer came to life and he began using his mouse. I took a seat on the leather couch and waited for Davian to finish his call.
“I’ve got the letter pulled up now,” he replied to Patton.
My eyes focused on Davian’s as he concentrated on the screen. I could tell something he read sparked concern when his eyes got wider. Pulling a notepad from his desk drawer, he began scribbling down notes I assumed were important. I might have been mistaken when I said there was nothing special about the letter.
