“Fuck,” I clipped, hips stuttering as I emptied inside him.
I slipped out of him as he slumped to the bed, breathing heavily like I was. Standing, I picked him up, bridal style, and carried him into the bathroom. My body was lax from coming hard, but the need to take care of Henri outweighed my own wants.
He rested his hand to my chest and patted there, all mellow after coming.
I had him stand beside the shower, making sure he would be fine, while I opened the door and slipped in to turn on the water. I adjusted the temp until it was perfect.
When I stepped back out, I wound an arm around Henri’s waist and led him in, smirking at the thought that if I ever needed to shut Henri up, I just had to fuck him.
“Good, firecracker?” I asked when he stepped under the spray.
“Perfect like always, mon amour.” He hummed under his breath. “You take good care of me.”
My chest expanded. It was all I wanted in the damn world, to make sure he was taken care of.
After cleaning, I helped dry him and applied the balm to the marks I made—proving I owned him.
Henri lifted his head and snorted. He must have read my mind because he said, “Oui, mon amour, I feel very owned.”
“Good.” Dipping, I kissed him. “I’ll change the covers on the bed.”
“I’m going to get a drink,” he said, pressing his lips to my chest before walking out of the bathroom as I finished drying myself.
When Henri hadn’t come back to the bedroom by the time I did what I had to, I went to search for him. I found him in the kitchen at the counter, wearing a silk robe and waiting for the electric kettle to boil.
Moving up behind him, I rested my hands to his slim waist and leaned down to kiss his neck. “Hot chocolate?”
“Oui.”
“I thought I’d have made you tired.”
He grinned, staring down at the counter while I nibbled on his earlobe. He hummed before saying, “Mon amour, you wore out my body, but my mind is still running.” He turned in my arms. “Do you truly believe it was a good idea?”
“Oui,” I answered him. “I’ll set up a meet with Country ASAP tomorrow. But I’m already sure the club will want to join your business venture.”
He reached up, linking his fingers together behind my neck. “Remind me again how lucky I am to have you.”
I nipped his chin and kissed his lips. “Very fuckin’ lucky.”
“Non, you are lucky I found your stalking cute.”
That was damn true. I’d been worried when I’d admitted that over the years when we hadn’t talked, I was still aware of everything he did because of the cameras I’d set up.
He’d been silent for a while, just watching me while I ate my tongue for being honest in the first place, especially since there’d been a chance I could lose him.
But after a while, he’d asked, “Did you watch me sleep?”
I’d nodded.
“Did you touch yourself when I played?”
Once again, I’d nodded, gut twisting in fear, but I’d needed to be completely honest if we had a chance to make this work.
“You’re lucky I am more turned on about you watching me than peeved.”
It was then I knew I fucking adored the man and had to make him mine once more. Only that time, there’d be nothing to stand in our way. Earlier that day, Eve had told Henri she’d overheard me telling Country at the compound that I was ending my career in trafficking organs. He’d been ecstatic, but even then, he didn’t understand how far I would have gone to have him back brightening my world.
So, after I’d told him about the cameras, I’d added, “If you give me a second chance, I’ll not only give up trading in body parts but all other illegal activities you hate. Anything to keep you in my life.”
