“This wish is vast,min elskede,”his voice rumbled as my gold, my hair, and his shadows twisted together. “You do not have enough gold to pay for what you ask,” his voice deepened, rough with emotion, “but golden one, I will accept you as the balance owed.”

“Yes,” I whispered as gold and shadows danced across my skin, forming that bracelet I had missed for the last six months.

I watched as my hair wove itself into a gilded bracelet, the gold jewelry becoming beads and finally joining together into a slightly thinner cuff for Olan.

“You are everything I could have ever wished formin elskede,” his hands reverently slid across my stomach to my back, “I love you.”

“I love you,” I said, as he pulled me forward.

The priestess guffawed, “This is the easiest ceremony I’ve ever done. Go on then, kiss the bride!”
