Iwalked her home, gave her a quick kiss on the cheek, and left. I’m pretty sure she was hoping I’d come inside, but fuck, I knew better. I’ve got to keep myself in check. She’s leaving at the end of the week.

When she told me she was going to Paris, it was like a punch to the gut, and I’m not sure why. I’ve never fallen so hard for a woman. She isn’t like any other female I’ve ever met. She’s just so damn easy to be around.

The door to her apartment opens, and she steps outside. Holy fuck. Tonight she dressed up for our date. I mean, I told her to put jeans on because I can’t have her on my bike in shorts. But damn, those jeans fit her curves perfectly.

She pauses a few feet away and smiles. I shake my head. “No, don’t stop there. Come here.” I curl my finger, beckoning her to me.

A few bounces down the sidewalk, and she’s standing in front of me. Much better. I place my hands on her waist and tug heragainst me. She makes a cute little noise, and her eyes dilate. She likes it. “You ready for the ride of your life?”

“Yes.” She bites her bottom lip, drawing my gaze to her mouth. When my eyes return to hers, she grins. “You sure do look sexy standing next to your bike.”

Oh, so she’s openly flirting now. All right, I’m down for it. I tug on the end of her braids. “You did your research.”

“A girl can’t have helmet hair.”

I lean forward, whispering in her ear, “Someday, I’m going to ask you to braid for other reasons.”

Her breath hitches. “Um, what would those be?”

I lean back, running my hands down her naked arms. My gaze roams over her black tank top before slowly climbing up to meet her eye. “Use your imagination.”

She stops breathing all together. Not because she’s offended or scared. Shit, she’s not even embarrassed. She’s intrigued.

“Breathe, baby, breathe.” I grab the helmet I picked up for her today and wait until I see her take a breath. “Ready?”

She nods, but I’m not sure she is.

“You can’t be getting dizzy on me now. Take a few more.”

Daisy fills her lungs exaggeratedly a couple of times as she rolls her eyes at me. I bite my knuckle, because fuck if I don’t want to swat her fine ass for that.

She grins at me.

Brat.

I show her where to put her feet and the areas on the bike not to touch. “I don’t want you getting burned, so pay attention.”

Her brows are pulled together as she listens, and it pleases me greatly. I like a girl who knows when to be serious and when to be playful.

After I get her helmet secured, I swing my leg over the bike and then give her my hand to help her on. Her arms wrap around my waist without hesitation as she molds herself against me.Her perky tits press against my back, and I’m positive I’ve just located the gateway to heaven. We fit together perfectly, but I have to remind myself that this is temporary.

My heart squeezes painfully as I start the bike.

Her thighs clench around me, and she hugs me tighter. I reach back and pat her leg for reassurance. Our first ride up the coast is something I’m going to remember forever.

When we get to the restaurant, she is bursting with energy.

“That was amazing!”

She spins in a circle as I take my helmet off. Her cheeks are full of color. I could be wrong, but I think she liked it.

“Addicting, isn’t it?”

Her head falls back, and she takes a deep breath. “I’ve never felt so alive.”

And that is how we spend the next four days. Riding, eating, watching the sun set, flirting, talking, and a quick kiss on the cheek each night.
