“I understand,” he says as he stops and looks at me.“Never feel like you have to choose a side.She is your best friend, and I will never get in the way of that.I only ask you to come to me if she is in danger or might be eventually.I don’t care if you tell her about us, but just don’t use her as a middleman if we are arguing, and I won’t either.”
